Packed securely and shipped quickly, it arrived within a couple of days in perfect condition. It's well made and just what I needed. Two issues- one, as another reviewer commented, the bar comes with what I assume is an anti- rust coating that's a little messy to remove. It would be nice if some instructions came for that. Maybe there were and I just did n't see them. And two- the clerk who took the order told me my email address would be used only to communicate regarding the order. I did spend on my normal Olympic bar but got this one to save money and get skull crushers in. First thing I did was a practice curl and noticed the noise. Shot some Blaster into the gaps on each end( pic) and no more squeak. Definitely glad I did n't pay more for this type of item. Easy curl barbell
I purchased the Body Solid OB47B Olympic Curl Bar a few weeks ago. I love it. It is well built and should meet anyone ’s expectations. When I received the bar, it was covered with exes grease for shipping. It came with a small toe tag note explaining the grease. I only wish the note was in a bigger size to draw quicker attention to it.

I got this bar about a month ago. I started using it out of the box as soon as I got it. I had to clean the sleeves because they do n't spin as freely nor as quuietly as they should. I bought a 12mm Hex Wrench so I was ready to clean them. The bolts were tight, but not as tight as bolts I had on the Tricep Bar that I also have. The bolts were a little dirty. I had to brush off some grime from the threads. After greasing the contact points, the sleeves spun freely and quietly. The black finish looks good and it also protects the bar from rust.

The only qualm I had was the odor when I took the plates out of the box. But I assumed that was a normal smell from newly manufactured rubber. The smell dissipated after a few days. Solid material and well balance when weights are added. I do not use the clamps that was included, as I have better Olympic weight clamps that I use to secure the weights.

Curl bar has a nice balance when curling heavier weights. Even though the lock for the weights are plastic. I have n't had any issues with them. Overall good bar for 2 in weights

I ’ ve had the bar for about 2 weeks, great addition to my home gym. The shape is great to blast biceps and triceps( extensions). Additionally, it comes with very tight fitting collars. I ’ d recommend this for your ez curl solution.
