Off the irons this ball is a club longer than Pro V1. I believe I can adjust to that. Driver distance is the same. Ball checks up nicely when chipping. My driver speed is 98- 99 so I thought the regular tour would be the ball for me but after putting with the tour I found it to soft off the putter. Tour X is much better for me.

I had been using the Left Dash with excellent results, especially off the driver. The only drawback was that it sounded and felt a bit firm off my putter and irons though but that was something I could live with given the performance gains. I decided to try the TD and I am very pleased. Same performance gains as the Left Dash but with a slightly better sound and feel. Very impressive.

Great Ball. I tried the Chrome Tour last year, and I was over- spinning it, but this ball was the remedy to that. Could hold the wind well and the ball still turns over, just not as much the Tour( have n't tried the X). Felt firm enough for me and rolled well on the greens.

Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.

First off.. I am a Golf Ball fanatic.. I have studied golf balls for years, and spend hours per week researching test results every year! In the summer I use Urethane balls, however in the winter I will occasionally use a lower compression non- urethane ball! This Maxfli Tour has been my primary ball all of 2022. You can not find a better quality ball equal to this ball for under say$ 45. What most folks don ’ t know is Maxfli is one of only 2 companies that ensure the Alignment Marks on this ball coincides with the balance points of EACH ball! The factory spins EVERY ball at high speed to locate and portion of the ball that might be slightly out of balance, they then locate the Alignment Mark accordingly. In the perfect world any ball that not perfectly balanced will roll untrue unless this heavy area is position properly before being struck! The Maxfli Tour is a low flight, high spin ball with the same test results as the Pro V1( and other$ 50 balls).

These are incredible! They are TP5s so they are automatically amazing! But now they have a tracker that my Sim picks up beautifully! I have always had to get pro VI RCT, so it ’s nice that Taylor made has this option now. I think it ’s a much better ball and I am seeing consistent results in the sim.

I 've been using the yellow Tour X for 3 months. It does everything well. Great trajectory, great feel with clubs and putter, stops on the green in 1 hop, I 've had great accuracy left/right and distance, as long as prov1x.

I recently played a few rounds with the TaylorMade TP5x Yellow golf balls and was genuinely impressed. These balls gave me excellent performance off the tee and around the green — consistent distance, great feel, and solid control. What stood out the most was how easy it was to track the bright yellow color, especially in low light and against tree lines. It made a big difference in my confidence and focus throughout the round. I played some of my best golf with these, and I ’ ll definitely be sticking with them going forward. Highly recommend!
