[ This is a great pressure gauge that provides accurate results very quickly. The rotating head makes it easy to get a good reading while helping to see the display. I have worked with various types of gauges, but like this one best. Great product!

[ At first, before it was delivered to me, I was, honestly, a bit skeptical. Once I got the 'feel' for using it, I can say its absolutely great. Oh, and accurate. Good price. Good product. Moosehead is a great retailer. Oh, and thanks for the kiss.

[ Works really well as a tire gauge! I really like how it you can read the pressure, let some air out, and read again( by pressing a button). Accepts both schrader and presta valves. COuple of issues: PSI readings displays only integers, would like to see it read down to the tenths. Also, when ready tubeless tires using presta valves, the sealant canget inside. Not sure if it affects anything though. I try to deal with this issue by always taking readings by rotating the wheel so that the valve is at the upper most position( hopefully most of the sealant is at the bottom..) I give it a hard recommendation if you can spare the cash!!

I bought this to mount on my road bike. It's small, easy to mount and the double action allows for quick inflation. Well worth the money!

It works good enough for the price. Once you reach 50psi it's really hard to Pump. I do n't doubt that this pump can inflate your tire to 100 psi. But your going to get a real work out. I would recommend this Topeak Mini Dual bike pump.
5
rkilbride
Purchased this for use with my road bike with presta valves. It has a fairly low profile on the frame. I let the air out of a tire to test the pump and I was able to get it up to 90 psi without much effort and could have gone further if I chose to. It takes awhile to pump up as is expected with a small pump like this, but it does move the air without too much effort. I 'm happy with this little guy.

It's a good pump lets you know your tire pressure so you can put as much air as you 'd like to ride efficiently. If you own a bike you should also own a portable pump. If you happen to get a flat you can at the least pump some air in the tire every few blocks to get your bike home. I bought a pump for 9. 99 and returned it because it broke and upgraded to this one. It's pretty dependable. Well worth the money!

[ Well put together and easy to use. Stashes great on the bottom of my top tube of my fat bike. Way better than a small mini pump especially when it comes to wider tires! Hope I never need while out on a ride but if I do I will be able to pump my tire up easily.

[ I have a 27. 5+ bike. This was a huge difference from my old pump that I kept on my bike frame. The extra volume per pump is well worth it. I really do n't need to use my floor pump now. It also mounts perfectly to my downtube. I do wish the hose was a touch longer, but I know they are trying to keep it compact so you can mount it on your bike.
A pressure gauge bike pump is a device used to inflate bicycle tires while providing a measurement of the tire pressure. It typically features a built-in gauge that displays the current pressure in PSI or bar, allowing users to inflate their tires to the recommended levels. This ensures optimal performance and safety while riding, as properly inflated tires improve handling and reduce the risk of flats.
Using a pressure gauge when inflating bike tires is crucial for maintaining the correct tire pressure, which can affect ride quality, traction, and overall safety. Under-inflated tires can lead to increased rolling resistance and a higher risk of pinch flats, while over-inflated tires can result in a harsh ride and reduced grip. A pressure gauge helps cyclists achieve the optimal pressure recommended by the manufacturer.
When selecting a pressure gauge bike pump, consider features such as the accuracy of the gauge, the pump's maximum pressure capacity, and its ease of use. Look for a pump with a durable construction and a comfortable handle for better grip. Additionally, a dual-action pump can inflate tires more quickly by pushing air in on both the up and down strokes.
Yes, a pressure gauge bike pump can generally be used for various types of bike tires, including road, mountain, and hybrid bikes. However, it's important to check the pump's compatibility with the valve type on your bike tires, such as Schrader or Presta. Some pumps come with adjustable heads or adapters to accommodate different valve types.
It's recommended to check your bike tire pressure at least once a month or before each ride, especially if you're planning a long journey. Environmental factors such as temperature changes can affect tire pressure, so regular checks help ensure your tires are properly inflated. Additionally, inspecting your tires for any signs of damage or wear is a good practice.
The typical pressure range for bike tires varies depending on the type of bike and tire size, usually falling between 30 to 130 PSI. A pressure gauge helps you accurately measure the tire pressure, ensuring you stay within the recommended range for optimal performance. This can enhance your riding experience by improving comfort, efficiency, and safety.
