I got all of Nike's baseball batting protection and it is especially great. The elbow guard is firm and sturdy, yet can bend to the movement of the arm. It's a very good fit, even though it's recommended for adults it's also pretty good for younger/smaller players as the velcro elastic band can be tightened to fully fit the arm to the best protection. The elastic band is thick and does n't itch or interfere with the arm and swing while batting. The material of the guard is of exceptional quality and comfort, even for the below average price for Nike's baseball protection. However, if used with the intention of a younger player, a sleeve may be used for the arm, since if the elbow guard is not fully tight, there might be a bigger sting when drilled by a baseball/softball and a sleeve may help to protect from the elbow guard banging into the arm once being hit, as it might be not fully tight. The guard is also very light and compact, making it hard to tell you 're even wearing it, and it does n't prevent arm movement while swinging. It's nice that the elbow guard is not moldable as sometimes people will want to share their gear with someone else, but if both people's arms are n't the same size and the elbow guard is molded, then it can feel awkward, tight, or even loose. This is a great option for adults, or even high school or possibly middle school players who want great gear, at a lower price, but gear that will also get the job done, protect them, and last them longer as they grow and get older.

Very well made, sturdy. Covers more than just the elbow but very comfortable to use.
