I do n't think the other reviewers played this golf ball because it is an excellent overall ball. I have a ball speed between 150 to 165 mph and this ball is 3 to 5 yards longer than my current ProV1. The ball tracks true in head and side winds and has an excellent, high flight that I love. Around the greens the ball checks easily on really short chips but also stops with a yard or two of roll out when I attack the pin. The feel is outstanding from tee to green. I think people are reacting to a price point without ever playing the ball. If you care about improving your game buying good equipment is an investment, not a cost. Dropping strokes off my scorecard is important to me and the LA Golf Ball helped me do that. I think it is worth every penny.

S is softer and feels it off the putter and chips. Tour is right in the middle. Distance is all comparable to my 10 handicap. I play the S in cold weather and rock the X when temps are better. Bought a sleeve of these on Friday to test out this weekend and was very shocked at how much I enjoyed them. The ball had a little more pop off the tee than the Chrome Soft, but was still soft around the greens. Will continue to play the Chrome Tour.

[ I did n't expect these top- of- the line balls to be distance balls necessarily, but was immediately impressed by the fact these were consistently further than normal. I rarely hit the clubface center; I 'm happy if I hit a drive 220; my first round with Chrome Tour my drive distances were 223, 217, 236, 252, 189( toe), 237, 226, 230, 215, not counting the drives which hit trees. I hit a number of irons thin, and the ball seemed to almost self correct, continuing in the right direction and running up on the green. The ball has a medium soft feel, neither too hard or soft. A couple of full swing wedge shots spun back about 10 ft. I am a 72 yr old with 14 index. That first round I hit 8/14 fairways and 7/18 GIR.

Great addition to the Chrome Tour lineup as it seems to perform a bit better for my swing than the CT did last year. I 've played the CT and CTX over the past year as my gamers. Had a feeling there was something between these two that would be a perfect ball for me. Well, they did it with the Chrome Tour Triple Diamond! I think it's the perfect blend from green to tee with spin, feel, flight, and launch for my game. It just reacts so well and checks all the boxes off every club in the bag. Green, greenside, approach, and from the tee box these balls have it all. Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.
