He used it for a few games until he decided to take it off. My 12 year old son got smoked in the face last weekend by an inside fastball. It was the second time that he has taken a pitch to the face/helmet over the past few years, and both times this helmet and C- Flap jaw gaurd has saved him. He is good, they classified it as mild symptoms. No cognitive activity for a couple of days and no physical activity for a couple of weeks. We all know that this could have been much worse. The doctor at Children's said that wearing the face guard definitely saved him from bigger injuries. Do not know if the C- Flap jaw gaurd is supposed to shatter the way it did but who cares, it has done its job twice. It is worth it's weight in gold and then some. I was under the assumption that this would run large based on experience with other warrior products, but this was the opposite. A medium fits me just fine in bauer helmets, but this in medium was way too small. Seemed to be of good quality though.

This Victus face cage is very durable! I thought it was going to be cheaply made but was the total opposite. I wanted to use it as a project to create a helmet from a souvenir I got from a sox game. It is too heavy for the project but for a real helmet it is extremely durable. Its thick and heavy though so I wouldn ’ t use it for kids. When it says senior it means Senior.

This was something I got for my high school baseball player, only to be informed ‘ this is for softball mom!! ’ Oops! So it never got put on a helmet BUT I did have the coach pass it on to the High School softball team. I ’ m sure it will get plenty of use and their beautiful faces will be well protected!
