I own most water purification systems on the market. The Grayl is my latest purchase and is now my go to. I backpack in the north Ga, NC, TN mountains where water sources are usually close by but not always easy to get to. If I can ’ t reach the source, I tie paracord to the metal eyelet, lower the Grayl, fill it, pull it up and press the water through filter and I ’ m back on the trail in minutes. This bottle keeps my water cold while biking which is something I 've missed with plastic water bottles. Although I have n't dropped it, I 'm sure it 'll survive any drops. I got the mud cap for mine so I 'm always drinking clean water. Obviously it is super lightweight. It's probably the last bottle I 'll ever need to buy. Money well spent.
