I wear size 6 1/2 but was advised to go up a half size since my feet are wide. They were too tight so I got size 7 1/2 and they feel much better but I am breaking them in before a winter trip to Japan where we will be doing a lot of walking. The boots are a simple style which I love and will keep my feet warm. I looked at many other winter boots on several websites and none can compare to the Cedar Quilt and I love the color green so this was perfect. I will attach two photos to the review. Snow pants fit over the boots nicely. Alas, the sizing is off. The toe box is very narrow. I have an average weight foot and generally wear medium width( average) shoes and boots comfortably with mid weight socks. I purchased size 9. 5 in this boot which is my regular size for boots. Not only was the toe box much too narrow, but my toes were pushed against the toe of the boot.

[ I purchased these after my last set of slips went south. It's not uncommon for me to walk from the house to the garage and down the gravel drive with mocs on. These definitely make that easy and comfortable. There's a good amount of breathability that my feet are n't overheating, and with the option of converting them into slip ons, I can more easily regulate that.
