I got this ball a few weeks ago with the hopes it would help my 6 year old be less afraid of the ball as she works on learning to play catch. She absolutely loves this ball. We play catch( even inside now that it ’s super cold and snowy) with no worries about getting hurt or fear of the ball that she got from a regular softball. Tennis balls were a nice thing for a while but the fact that this is the right size and weight really helps her get a good feel in her glove for the ball and what to expect when catching the ball she will be using in spring. As she ’s built up her confidence catching the ball we have swapped in a regulation 11 ” here and there and she ’s so happy she can catch and throw it just the same. Absolutely recommend this ball for littles learning to catch or with fear of the ball.

I bought this glove due to the fact that a prior glove that was purchased back in the spring of 2012. A previous version of this glove withstood 9 moths a year of continuous baseball with my son over the years. He finally beat the palm out of old faithful, yet the leather, laces and glove always stayed fully in tacked. Never have I had to replace, just work the glove to fit you. I have no doubts in my purchase of the new one as I am confident it will serve us well.

The equipment we buy for our young players can impact their confidence. So glad I purchased this item!

These Easton Women ’s Ghost Softball Sliding Shorts are great! The biggest thing I like is that they** don ’ t ride up** while playing. They stay in place and are comfortable when running, sliding, and moving around on the field. The fit is supportive without feeling too tight, and they provide the coverage I want under my softball pants. It ’s nice not having to constantly adjust them during a game or practice. Overall, they are comfortable, stay where they ’ re supposed to, and are a great choice for softball players. I would definitely recommend them! They Stay in Place!

The bucket is good. I read a review that the top broke when they opened it, that did n't happen to me. It opened easily. My daughter is able to open and close it as well. She is 8. The balls have only been hit a few time, so its hard to tell on the quality of the balls. But I bought these strictly for my daughter to practice in the yard. They seem ok as of now. The plastic bucket is just like any other. It is made the same as the name brands to me. I think softballs and buckets are way over priced, so I bought this because it was the cheapest one. Im not disappointed.

I bought several of these to help with my swinging mechanics before the start of my softball season. I was impressed from the start. These suckers sure fly even when hitting them off the tee. For a hitter of my experience, I was hitting mostly line drives which were going towards the gap/wall. The Baden Fire is a very underrated ball. I highly recommend this; especially to those looking to improve their swing!

DieselDog189
OH. MY GOODNESS, the Baden Fire Power Softball! It's not just a ball, it's a revelation! `` Fire Power ''? They undersold it! This thing launches like a rocket, a glorious, slow- motion rocket! The seams? Masterpieces of grip, designed by softball angels! Durability? It laughs in the face of batted balls! And the sound? A symphony of pure, unadulterated POP! Forget everything you thought you knew about softballs. This is it. The pinnacle. The GOAT. 5/5 stars, and I 'd give it more if I could!

Still breaking the glove in but I can tell it is a high quality glove. I have owned other Akadema gloves and have loved them. Primary use will be for softball.

This is my first Akadema glove. I used to have a Rawlings but a hunch told me to buy this glove as soon as I saw it. Now, when I wear my teammates' gloves I feel really uncomfortable, even with an A2000. Very easy break- in, no need for steaming or powding, only play catch for a while and its ready to play. I use this glove for softball outfield and I highly recommend it.

This is a replacement for a very old baseball glove. This glove is very comfortable from the day purchased. Needs minimal break- in and sure it will conform more over time. I was surprised the 12. 5 fit well as other gloves I looked at were 12's. I needed something to toss the ball( softball and hardball) with the kids. Nice recommendation from the sales personnel.

Bought this to toss a ball with the kids. Was almost game ready so I saddle soaped and rubberband it. Very nice glove for the money and my purpose.. I feel, if i purchased a 12 '' instead of 12. 5 '' I would use it for softball and baseball.

When selecting recreational softball equipment, consider factors such as material, weight, and design. Look for lightweight materials that enhance comfort and mobility, as well as designs that cater to various skill levels. Additionally, features like moisture-wicking fabrics can help keep players dry during games.
Beginners in recreational softball should focus on acquiring essential gear such as gloves, bats, and appropriate footwear. A well-fitted glove is crucial for catching, while a lightweight bat can help with swing control. Comfortable footwear designed for outdoor play can also enhance performance on the field.
The size of a softball can significantly affect gameplay, as larger balls are typically used in recreational leagues. A standard recreational softball is often designed for easier catching and hitting, making it suitable for players of all ages. Understanding the size can help players choose the right equipment for their league.
Recreational softball gear is often made from a variety of materials, including synthetic fabrics, leather, and composite materials. Synthetic fabrics are popular for jerseys and uniforms due to their durability and moisture-wicking properties. Leather is commonly used in gloves for its flexibility and comfort, while composite materials are often found in bats for improved performance.
Recreational softball gear is typically designed for comfort and ease of use, focusing on accessibility for players of all skill levels. In contrast, competitive gear is often engineered for performance, featuring advanced materials and designs that enhance speed and power. Understanding these differences can help players choose the right equipment based on their playing level.
