We play catch( even inside now that it ’s super cold and snowy) with no worries about getting hurt or fear of the ball that she got from a regular softball. This is a replacement for a very old baseball glove. This glove is very comfortable from the day purchased. Needs minimal break- in and sure it will conform more over time. I was surprised the 12. 5 fit well as other gloves I looked at were 12's. I needed something to toss the ball( softball and hardball) with the kids. Nice recommendation from the sales personnel.
