Packed securely and shipped quickly, it arrived within a couple of days in perfect condition. It's well made and just what I needed. Two issues- one, as another reviewer commented, the bar comes with what I assume is an anti- rust coating that's a little messy to remove. It would be nice if some instructions came for that. Maybe there were and I just did n't see them. And two- the clerk who took the order told me my email address would be used only to communicate regarding the order. Now a day does n't pass without multiple emails from Dick's and they drive me nuts. I 've gone through the unsubscribe process twice to no avail.

I do n't know if I got lucky or got some weird b- stock, but my bar is 84 '' which is 7'. But that's absolutely fine with me. That length allows for plenty of grip area: about 51 '' wide. So I have no problem with wider grip movements. The knurling of the grip area is( in my opinion) pretty aggressive- meaning it feels like it's a deeper, maybe even `` sharper '' grip. Some may like this, some may not. I prefer it. I do like that the center of the bar is NOT knurled. When doing any kind of clean or front squat, the center of the bar rests on the top of the chest and, to me, knurling the center scratches up the chest like crazy. If anyone is complaining about the bar not being an Olympic size, then those people apparently do n't know what `` standard '' means for barbells... they apparently also do n't look at photos of the product because there's no way you look at the pic of this bar and think it's Olympic size!;) It would be nice if a bar like this would include clamps/collars- those spring clamps are cheap, just include them! I had no problem getting my older standard size collars to fit but it seems that there are some people that have had to get larger clamps. Why a 'standard' collar does n't fit a 'standar' bar? I dunno. I mean, standard is supposed to mean standard, right? I double checked my bar, it looks be dead on 1 '' diameter. Hopefully people that purchase bar understand that it is not meant for really heavy Olympic lifts, it is not meant for rubber bumper plates that can be dropped. This is a basic bar made for home workout enthusiasts. I did go to the local store to purchase this bar, but they do n't carry this type in store... they only carry the bar with the `` screw on '' collars which I think are terrible( they always loosen). When I came across the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 I knew this was the route to go for space- savings in my home gym! these are great for a good pool work out. they are a bit `` heavy ''( more floatation) but you can use slower movements or keep them more shallow for less of resistance, and move them faster or push them further under water( or do both actions at the same time) for more resistance. they seem to be holding up well so far but I have not had them for very long. hopefully they will continue to hold up in my 3 times a week hour long pool class at the gym.

I got this bar about a month ago. I started using it out of the box as soon as I got it. I had to clean the sleeves because they do n't spin as freely nor as quuietly as they should. I bought a 12mm Hex Wrench so I was ready to clean them. The bolts were tight, but not as tight as bolts I had on the Tricep Bar that I also have. The bolts were a little dirty. I had to brush off some grime from the threads. After greasing the contact points, the sleeves spun freely and quietly. The black finish looks good and it also protects the bar from rust.

Leaps and bounds better than the Titan at far better price. After trying the titan it was not that comfortable and just would n't sit right. Squats were always unstable. Decided to give the Ethos a try and glad I did. For the price, this thing is way better, padding was more comfortable, the handles are solid stainless steel, very high quality. Being rated for 1000lbs is overkill for me and probably most people. Do n't waste your money on the versions, very happy with this.

Leaps and bounds ahead of the titan ssb. Had to return the titan it was just too uncomfortable and just felt off. This bar sits just right, my shoulders could tell the difference immediately. Far better quality and value. Well worth the price, do n't waste your money on the more expensive ones.

This is a great machine! It's solid and high quality, and it has enough exercise options to let me mix it up. Doing the same 5 or 6 lifts every time gets old, and it's not ideal for training. The Centr 3 allows me to hit each muscle group in multiple ways so my workouts do n't stagnate. The Smith bar is my favorite aspect of the machine. I suffered some spinal injuries several years ago, and that has really limited my ability to keep fit and mobile. In particular, squats were out of the question. My legs still have some good strength, but I have nerve damage that compromises my ability to stabilize the lift. With the Centr 3, I can rely on the mechanical stability of the Smith bar, allowing me to start reversing the muscle loss from years of `` taking it easy. '' I know I 'll never be as strong as I was before my injuries, but with Centr in my corner, I 'll be a heck of a lot closer!

The fact that it includes the attributes of a Smith Machine means I can safely squat, bench and complete other exercises where being unable to finish the exercise might compromise my safety. It also provides so many options/variations for lifts that it does n't lend itself to that workout `` killer '' of falling into the same routine.

Shopped around for some farmer carry bars and what drew my attention to these besides the great price was the knurled grips that I did n't see most if not all of the others. I ordered them on a Friday and they were delivered on Wednesday. The packaging was in good shape and there were no flaws in the finish of the bars. The bars weighed in at 22. 2lbs each on my bathroom scale. There is 12 '' of sleeve length which will allow for plenty of weight. They came with 4 spring collars which is a good thing because standard spring collars are too big. But less than standard olympic sleeve diameter seems to be the norm with all these carry bars. I did find that my hex collars will also work on them, just not as tight as on an Olympic bar. I 'm very happy with the purchase and ca n't wait to try them out.

Just got them and tried them out. Paint on collars is fragile, but I 'm not sure why the collars are painted anyway( main reason for 4 not 5 stars). They seem well built otherwise and held up to the 220# I had on each of them. They are well balanced and provided quite a workout. The knurling is pretty agressive, but similar to powerlifting bars. Chalk helped.

I have had these straps hanging outside in the Florida environment for about 13 years. Every day, all day. I just replaced them with new ones just because the handle rubber split. I dont know of anything that can withstand the Florida elements like that.

I have been using this equipment for over 12 years. I have put it to hard use both inside and out in nature, over tree limbs and pull up bars. It has held up remarkably well. It is also useful as isometric straps. I keep it in a bag in my car when I go on my month long road trips. Originally I owned the first version( which I still have and use) but this version is even better because the straps are wider, the handles allow for comfortable foot straps, which allows for some potent lower body exercises. The handles are thick and comfortable. The adjustments are quick and easy to make. One of my favorite strength and mobility tools.

I 'm 62 and purchased this about 2 months ago. So far, I find it to be very good. I lift weights 3 days a week and use this Golf Forever the other 4 days of the week. It's not a `` muscle strenuous '' workout so it compliments my other routine. My weakness is with balance and flexibility so I believe over time this Golf Forever trainer will help because I 'm already seeing some benefits. Before starting it asks you what equipment you have so it can provide routines that you can do in addition to the Golf Forever trainer. I would suggest getting a good foam roller because the routines they have for it are good.

No carry case when bought from GG but I wouldn ’ t be carrying it around so it ’s meaningless. The equipment and program get results. Pullups and chinups have always been challenging for me. I was never able to get past a few reps. A friend recommended the Pullup Revolution and after I did some research I decided to make the investment. I really like the fact you can add or remove the tubes to change how much help you get.
