I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. Love that the silicone is painted on the glass. The silicone bumper adds a bit of slip and bump protection, especially when placing the bottle on a granite counter top. I do wish there was a simple cap, with or without a drinking spout, so the bottle does n't leak. For instance, my water bottle often ends up tipped over on the passenger seat of my car, and the current lid does leak, a little quicker than I realized originally.

This was the first bottle I ever tried to help me drink a lot of water throughout the day. I really do not like warm or room temperature water. This bottle seriously keeps my water cold, even when I ’ m in my warm classroom or in my car on a hot day. I highly recommend this company ’s bottles, specifically this bottle, because it does what the website says it does. I have not ever use this for warm drink, so I can only speak to cold drinks. Also, this bottle has taken a beating and is still an excellent condition. In my experience, it is 100% leak proof. I can confidently put in my school bag and not worry about anything getting damaged.

This works exactly as advertised. My drinks stay cold and I do n't lose carbonation, all day. It does need to stay upright, because it leaks if you drop it on its side, or at least the one I have suffers from that issue. I have n't taken the time to check the gasket, so it might just need to be seated in the lid better. Overall, it's an amazing product.

I had purchased one of the limited editions a few years back for the Parks for All partnership I got the Hawaiian Volcanoes 32 oz flask and was super satisfied. I began looking around for a new canteen for my new job that will be outdoors in the Texas elements. I decided to come back for another Hydro Flask for work and got one of the larger canteens the 64 oz in black with the flex straw. I have already been using it for a few months and I am satisfied again with Hydro Flask. For a 64oz it's very light weight, i personally noticed it kept my iced water colder a little longer than 24 hours, and durable I have accidentally dropped it, banged it and scuffed it and its still holding up. I also enjoy the fact the products are very easy to dissemble and clean. BTW I totally recommend at max a weekly cleaning and not just for Hydro Flask but for any other product to prevent build up of gunk and mildew. But overall the canteen is a great buy, and now that summer is around the corner I am excited to have a container filled with water for my work day. Hydrate Hydrate HYDRATE!!!!! lol.
