This pocket knife was given to me as a gift from my son prior to him leaving on his first military deployment. That was nearly 10 years ago. It has served me well on a daily basis. About four or weeks later I was headed out to spread bedding and fodder to the chickens and decided to take the pledge alongdue to the fact it opened easily with one hand. I still carry my yellow handle, but i also carry the gerber clipped to the inside front pocket of my blue jeans. The gerber doès all the work because it deploys with one hand, its sharp as a razer, and its tough; besides if I break it gerber warrenty has my back. I 'm 69 years old and set in my ways, but just maybe an old dog can learn a new trick!

I really like this knife's bigger brother, the Bugout and thought I would try this one, but it is too small for my large hands. I will not ding the knife for this, it is a personal preference and a simple fact that I have large hands. I did return it for that reason. I really like the knife and anyone who does n't have bear paws for hands will love this knife.

[ I bought this knife because it reminded me of the Buck 110 my old man gave me as a gift when I was a kid. I liked that gift a lot and used that knife for many many years. I always hoped Buck would remake a high quality modern version of the 110 model. Well Benchmade beat them to it. The knife opens and closes butter smooth. This knife is very similar to the Benchmade 940 but with a nostalgic appearance. I love the axis lock. I love how this knife looks. My only complaints about this knife is the finish is pretty slick( not much traction on the knife) and and the wood scales do n't sit perfectly flush with the aluminum. Overall, I very much like this knife.

For quite a few years now I have treated myself to a new Twitch II for the holidays. This year, when I read that the Twitch III had been released, I just had to have one! The slim profile fits nicely in your front pocket. The assisted open is lightning fast. While I wasn ’ t so sure if I liked the lock position in front of the blade, it does allow for one handed closing. I highly recommend this knife for those that have purchased the Twitch II in the past.

[ So far, the knife is durable, lightweight, and solid. There ’s no play in the mechanism when open or closed, reliable connection between hand and blade. The handle is G10, I believe, which is really light and( so far) strong. I ’ ve disassembled the knife and installed a Wiseman brand singlet, which makes the overall shape of the blade closer to a karambit style, which I like. The pocket clip is movable from left to right and top to bottom, which is nice, but I would prefer a deep- carry pocket clip.
