Installed on a Wilderness Pungo 120 using You Tube directions. The written directions were confusing. Using You Tube, installation was a piece of cake. I 've only used the set up twice. Each trip it worked great. The second trip was windy with 10- 13 mph. winds. Anchored with the wind at my back so I was able to cast left, right and front. Glad I had the set up, otherwise the trip would have been a bust. Fishing would have been impossible.

I bought one for my first kayak and it was easy to install especially after seeing it on YouTube. I have used it a lot in shallow lakes and in Lake Michigan. These are quite good. The hook buckle is easy to engage, and unlike plastic buckles, is unlikely to break. Adjusting the straps is equally simple, and it's possible to put a lot of force into them to really cinch them down. They release easily when you want them to, even when wet, but hold tight otherwise. I 've started using them to replace strap systems on other things. Do n't let Mark's `` weighty '' opinion keep you from these straps. The guy has n't even touched them! I agree that the weight should be provided by the manufacturer, so I 'll give Mark's review two stars.

[ Great Product. This is my second one. I would suggest getting this HD version with the plastic backer plates. Skip the well nuts, and use this instead, you will thank yourself later. Plus install is easier now that you have a something to grip onto from the inside! Rope is plenty long and strong for any Yak/Canoe. The cord has minimal stretch, keep loose for initial install while cord get comfy, then tighten one time after, and you are good to go. As Always, YakAttack made a great product even better!.

I never could find these in a local tackle shop and very rarely shop online. Once I found these at Dicks and tried them, I was hooked. It lets you use your Senko's or other stick baits for longer. I used to get maybe 25 casts or catch 1 fish and my worm would fly off. With the O ring I get many more casts and fish catches with the same stick bait.
