[ I purchased my Instinct a few months ago. After a software update my motor works flawlessly. I have had two Ultera motors and both failed after a year or two. I have it on a 19 ’ Carolina Skiff with 24 volt system. The spot lock is great and the motor deploys and stows quickly. 👍

I bought this trolling motor to propel my 12' aluminum Jon boat in the tidal creeks around Charleston, SC. I mainly bought it due to it's resistance to corrosion from saltwater. The 45lb thrust is more than enough to motor around in the creeks, even against the strong tides. Price was very good too.
