Just getting back into rollerblading after a 20yr hiatus. There aren ’ t any local shops that carry them, so I had to gamble with getting correct size. If you have wide feet like me, I ’ d recommend going a size above your shoe size. I wear US 13 wide shoes, so I ordered 14 skates and they feel really good. There ’s also insole inserts included to increase the vertical tightness a 1/2 size. I haven ’ t used them yet. My biggest concern was toe cramping from having wide feet. These skates are awesome and the wheels and bearings are really solid for a stock setup. They are fast. I got an adrenaline rush and went too fast and wrecked without pads and helmet. My first baptism into the reality of skating. Make sure to at least where some wrist guards if you are a beginner or returning after many years.

First thing I did was switch out wheels and bearings. Wheels upgraded to 88a( hardness) and ILQ9 bearings. Comfortable with double socks, cause RB run wide. 15 years of blading, this is my 6th pair of RB and second pair of MacroBlade 90's, almost an everyday sk8er.

I 'm back on inlines after 22+ years off skates( last on 5- wheel/80mm Simmons, RacerBlades, and ProBlades in 1999- as a 10+ year ultra- distance road skater: A2A, NY100K, etc.)- and the Maxxum XT did not disappoint. Great boot, liner, height,& wheel- size@ 90mm: good support, comfortable, not too much of a jump in height( 80mm> 90mm), solid wheels& fast bearings. Extremely satisfied. If I make the jump to 110mm wheels, would plan to get these in that size( I 'd get the 125mm boots, and downsize the wheels). Rollerblade has always been a superb operation: professional, prompt, thorough, safe, and they deliver what they represent. I will definitely continue doing business with them. These twisters arrived today and they are very pretty!! well done!! my observation for others: 1. I am size 10/28cm in my usual shoe; I was unsure whether to choose 10/10. 5 or 11/11. 5!! I chose 10/10. 5 and they are perfect, they are super comfortable, I went out of the house and at what speed they take they look like a rocket!! I have 21 years without skating, I am 33 years old, I think I made a good choice in this 3- wheel model, everything is practice, the good thing is that I have a notion of skating!! My foot is normal to a little narrow, I would n't recommend it for people with wide feet... it says on the box that it comes with an Allen wrench but it did n't come with it:(,, it comes with an insole included which would be your size 10, if you remove it it reaches 10. 5.. it comes with 2 red/black braids.. I feel like you should bring your Allen wrench and a small oil for the bearings!!

I bought a pair of these skates in early July 2022 after realizing that a 3WD layout with larger wheels was going to be the best way to meet my fitness goals. I will admit that when I first heard of 3- wheel skates, I was a little skeptical about the alleged benefits, having been a 4- wheel inline skater for over 25 years. But after only three months with these skates, I am convinced that 3WD skates meet the hype. My endurance and speed have both greatly improved, although this wheel configuration does struggle on uphill stretches more than a 4WD skate does. One change I wish was made for this model is fitting a faster- ratcheting strap fastener. Oh, and a replaceable liner would be nice, too. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about the Macroblade 110 3WD. If you ’ re looking to go faster for longer but don ’ t have the budget for full- on speed skates, these are the skates for you.

The Skate to Ski movement bringing awareness to the huge advantage off season training specific to the same movements we use in skiing is what I am passionate about. This Twister inline skate has the performance, the comfort in the toe box, the support that feels like a ski boot( but of course more comfortable). It is great for long distance, bike path skating, practicing drills in the parking lot and I have even played around with them in the park. A great versatile skate I will recommend to all my students and followers!

I did extensive research on a set of Urban Blades and ended up grabbing these ones. The pricepoint is worth the quality! I 'm happy to review as it's hard to find female reviewers in this community! The Boots fit great. I read so many reviews that these boots run small and the recommendation was to size up. I wear a size 9 in Tennis shoes and got the 9/9. 5. They fit great no matter if I have thin or thick set of socks on. They are pretty lightweight, but feel extremely supportive in the frame and boot. The laces and straps will keep your foot/ankle locked in for maximum support and speed! Be warned-- these Skates are FAST! I was an avid blader in my teens and just decided to pick it back up at 29! I 've been skating streets and sidewalks and the skates really handle the different textures of concrete. I did install the brake that came with it and have a goal to remove it by Friday( will officially be one week back into blading). These skates can handle Tstops, power glides/stops-- you name it! The hydrogen wheels are pretty dreamy and smooth. I feel like these skates are responsive and do n't feel out of control at all. So much thought went into the engineering of this product and I 'm thrilled I was able to grab a pair. I LOVE them and skate every day. Thank you Rollerblade for allowing my inner child to have fun again! Get out ans Skate!!
