I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. Safety and comfort--- SOLD!

Playing in the mud
So far so good! They were a little uncomfortable at first but after a week there are comfy. I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I ’ m a well driller and good boys are hard to find that hold up to the constant mud and water every day. George boots hold up better than anything I ’ ve slipped my foot in!

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

They used to be XtraTuf. Everybody called them Alaska sneakers because everywhere you go, somebody is wearing tufs. The quality went downhill a little bit after they stopped manufacturing them in the USA but overall they '' re still a decent boot. I 've had the composite toe and the regular 15 '' legacy boots for over a decade, the 're more comfortable than a muck boot in my opinion and better for working on boats than most other rubber boots. As a fishing guide I always have a pair with me, it's always raining in Alaska.

I have six pair of Durango boots now and each new pair is my favorite. I wanted waterproof boots to work on my property and garden and was sick of buying garden shoes whose tread only lasts a year. Then I ’ m slipping and accident prone on the slick garden shoe soles and buying another pair. These work boots are waterproof and why not, steel toe as well and they are good looking! A shorter boot, kind of a fat boy boot in a way as the steel toe gives an unexpected lower profile in the toe. These are hugging the top of my foot in an expensive boot way. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I am a mechanic and have had these boots for about two years now. got new insoles about a month ago because the original ones flattened out. my back used to hurt before i got these boots but does not anymore. i ’ ve tried ariats to danners and have never found the one boot that has ever been comfortable to wear for long periods of time until i tried these. the “ non slip ” outsole really help when there is rogue spilled coolant or oil on the ground and the slip on feature helps when you need to climb inside a car in an awkward position really quick and just need to slip off the boots so you don ’ t get the car dirty. i am buying the chelsea version of these to wear casually because these boots are just the best.

I wore a different Georgia boot for 3- 4 years before buying this one. My other one was not waterproof. It started falling apart after using it on my dirt farm. With this one I can walk in the creeks and all over. It is super comfortable, waterproof, light, and fits great! It handles cow manure, creeks, woods, rocks, dirt, etc.-- Just all- around great! In addition, the bottom grip is nice. I do n't have any problems walking or shoveling, and the inside cushion makes you want to wear it for all occasions. The only thing you might have to do is replace the cushion every now and then; with around 230 lbs. the cushion performs well, but takes a toll. For winter, I recommend some thick, cushioned, wool socks. Wool socks and boot make it a winning combination that ca n't be beat by any other. Buy it!

I figured they would loosen up after a couple of days. They did n't. Because I wore them for 3 days, I figured that customer service would n't take them back. I 've become a fan of slip- on boots, but the quality of my `` go- to '' brand has declined. I found these on the Internet, read the reviews and ordered them. I wear an 8. 5 W, and out of the box my widest foot was a tad tight. However, the boot stretched pretty quickly and within a day they were perfect. I have other pairs of laced boots, some which are also waterproof, and I note that these boots are not as heavy as the others which adds to the comfort level.

The fact that you purchased a pair of shoes does n't give you the necessary information to write a review, you have to wear the shoes in order to get the information necessary to write a review. I wear these shoes everyday, because they fit perfect right out of the box and they are super comfortable... like walking on clouds. I even purchased a second pair.

I work in a warehouse and walk 10- 12 miles a day, 260 days a year. I have worn the Eagle Trail boots by Georgia Boot this past year. They have been amazing. Only now are the insides starting to fail at the heels. The outsole has worn evenly and still has lots of life left. The leather has resisted being run over by pallet jacks, the toes have saved my toes numerous times. I bought them at the outlet store in Nelsonville and love them so much I will order them again full price. My feet do n't sweat, stink or get blisters. I sized them in W to allow exptra room in the toe box and will likely go up a half size this time. They fit true to size and look very good after a touchup with Helix Foot and Boot care. My paycheck depends on my feet being healthy. My feet depend on my Georgia Boots. Yes, I would say they are the best boot I have ever worn for work.
