Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

These are my sixth pair of Sorel boots. I have three dressy pairs, two traditional winter boots, and now these. I wanted casual boots the wore like running shoes( something with heel support without a high heel). This style was perfect for it. These have kept my feet warm and dry when the temps are below zero. I ’ m a true 7. 5, and these fit very well. They are slightly wide in the opening( I don ’ t know the proper term), but not enough to bother me. The width near the toes is standard/wide. This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. It gets really tiring wearing these if you ’ re walking long distances, especially up and down hills.

The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. Great shoes. Got them a week ago for a work trip, and have been wearing a lot since. Super comfy. Not a painful breaking experience. They do get warm, on a plane I switched to some lighter shoes, but in Idaho in the 30s walking around and working in a warehouse they have been perfect. Not sure if I ’ d go hiking with these. I think of them as a great fall winter city boot

I wear a 13 and ordered a 13 despite the recommendation to up size because i could n't find a 14. They fit fine for me. I wear them with the laces as loose as possible and put a knot outside the eyelet instead of tying them, and they feel very comfortable. I get compliments from women every time I wear them. I live in MN and wanted something waterproof, but still stylish. These boots are perfect for going out on the town in winter.

[ The construction of the boot is very well made, unlike the popular style, it is much more lighter and flexible thanks to the nylon texture. As for warmth, it kept my feet quite warm without wearing a pair of thick socks, but I am still waiting for the heavy snow period in Chicago so I can test it out even further. Overall, I recommend to give this boot a try, however, suggest to at least size up about half a size or even one size if you plan to wear a pair of thick socks.

These boots look and feel great to wear. Casual and still a bit dressy at the same time…They are great to wear out to dinner and also out in the rain and snow. The only fault is on the sole of the boot where the SOREL logo is in a dipped white rubber over the other part of the sole. I ’ ve only had the boots a few months with very little wear and the white rubber of the logo is peeling off of one of the soles. I know it ’s a small thing but it really diminishes the overall look and feel of these nice boots. Especially when out and you happen to cross your legs or have your feet up on an ottoman. Picky… sure. But it just is a bummer that it ’s that way. Otherwise a really nice boot.
