Purchased for a 3 night, 2 day music and camping festival to keep my food cold and safe. while I did add more ice, the ice on the bottom remained the entire time, from Thursday afternoon to Sunday when I got home. I am happy with the ice retention. It is great! I also purchased this for the size( and price) and while the cooler is large enough for one person's food, it is very heavy. I did n't use the shoulder strap but rather put it in a wagon and wheeled it to my campsite. I wish this smaller version came with wheels. The weight is why I did n't give it 5 stars. I realize it is heavy to keep the ice cold but I overestimated my ability to carry it and will likely never use the shoulder strap.

Was looking for a good tube for the boat for summertime and this is definitely it! Durable and easy to inflate and use, very big! Will use for cottage and just anchor it off the dock so we can swim out and and float on the lake. It even has a build in cooler to hold ice and drinks so you stay out there for a while.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I will be using the cooler on all my hunting trips in the future!

I 've had at least 3 other models of Igloo branded coolers in the past and have loved them all. We normally use a pair of trail mate journeys, so this is about the same volume as what we 're used to, but the exterior is much more compact( no wheels or extra exterior parts/compartments) and not needing the ice will help get a lot more packed in. Where we use the trailmate for going camping, this will be used for a multi- week trip with multiple nights in hotels along the way to where we 're going. We 're going to be staying about an hour from a grocery store, so having a vehicle refrigerator will help a lot with surviving more days between trips to the store. This will go in the back of our SUV each day and plug into the car for power, moving it to the hotel each night to plug in. I have a battery pack with 220Whr of capacity, but from my tests within my house it wo n't be enough to leave it running off of this in the car overnight. I like that this has a good rubber seal and it sucks tight when you try to open it, so no air leaks like a typical cooler. I 'd like to see it with a bit thicker of a wall so that it would run a bit more efficiently, though it really does n't take that much power. I 'm also glad this is n't a thermoelectric cooler, like the ones that were popular in the 1990s. The unit does n't make much noise, so it wo n't wake anyone up or keep anyone up in the hotel rooms, at least no more than my snoring. The Igloo ICF 32 its a fair- sized option for a smaller vehicle. I 've had it for about a month and one trip. It has so far held well and worked in both the vehicle as well as indoor. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. So far no major drawbacks but then I 've just owned it for a month and hopefully this lasts long given it's not so cheap price tag.

Outstanding! Purchased the ICF 18 a month ago and used for 8 days straight without any problem. We found our perfect temp was 34 degrees. This cooler was spot on with the temperature although the smaller compartment above the compressor was just a few degrees higher. We opted to use that area for soda cans and items that weren ’ t as sensitive to temperature. The main area kept things really cold. I used a refrigerator thermometer before our trip and felt the internal thermometer was spot on within a degree or two. For longer trips or families the 32( size wise might be better), but we are happy with our choice! The unit was powered with a portable power supply that kept our Igloo running all day while driving with power to spare! To be fair, the Igloo was in a climate controlled car nearly all the time. Hope this helps and we would highly recommend the Igloo ICF 18. It is also very quiet as someone else mentioned. The cooler( fully loaded) was also manageable for a couple of seniors to lift in and out of our car. Good job and Thank you Igloo!!!

[ Was pleased to get this great Coleman- SPORTFLEX 42 can. Soft Cooler with Wheels, in time to use to a 4th July BBQ. I was able to fit in our drinks as well as meat, a dessert& a salad! Very handy having the wheels to transport to car as with it full was rather heavy, easy to maneuver using the telescopic handle. The easy access hatch is great to get a drink out, without opening the whole lid& letting out the cold. Another plus is the storage pockets on the sides for personal items- napkins etc. This cooler is light weight, has high quality zipper& easy to wipe clean.
