I was playing the 2023 model and was quite happy with it. I am liking the new 2025 model very much but there are a couple differences. First, the ball feels noticeably softer off the putter. Second, I am seeing more spin on approach shots. If you like a softer feel on and around the greens and some extra grab on approaches you 'll really like this ball. If not, then I 'd say take advantage of the lower price and purchase the 2023 model.

These are my current go to golf balls. Trajectory is good with solid construction. The dimple pattern is interesting but is intended to help it fly straighter. They ’ re a softer ball so they ’ re subject to damage if you ’ re getting decent compression on the ball. After 9 holes if using the same ball it was starting to show signs. No worries though, the 10th had water all down the right side side so it was no longer an issue.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Unbelievable balls. The Chrome Tour TD spins less than CT and CTX off the driver and stays remarkably straight down range. It is long! I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.
