I was playing the 2023 model and was quite happy with it. I am liking the new 2025 model very much but there are a couple differences. First, the ball feels noticeably softer off the putter. Second, I am seeing more spin on approach shots. If you like a softer feel on and around the greens and some extra grab on approaches you 'll really like this ball. If not, then I 'd say take advantage of the lower price and purchase the 2023 model.

Amazing ball for the price. This is my first time playing a urethane ball regularly, used to play Vice Tour. I immediately noticed the difference on approach shots and greenside. The stopping power is unreal. I even spun one back from a greenside bunker. My scores are lower because I can attack pins and rely on the ball stopping instead of rolling 10- 20 feet past.

I recently purchased a box just to try. I found this ball to be just as long off the tee as the TaylorMade TP5 that I typically play. I also found more fairways. I typically miss about half the fairways over the course of a round, but I only missed 1 with this ball. The usual bigger than wanted draw plagues me, but with this ball it was a gentle 10- 15 yard draw instead of the typical 30- 40 yard draw I encounter. My irons felt crisp and I got the expected distance. The ball flight matched my typical flight when playing the TP5. I did n't see the amount of spin I am used to off the approach shots, but it was enough to stop the ball. I did n't see the spin that would back the ball up, but it would hop and stop from 160 yards and in to about 70. From 70 and in I would like to ha e a bit more spin, but the spin I got on these was adequate. It was comfortable to chip and pitch around the greens, but Putting felt great and the ball rolled true. All in all, I am looking forward to more golf with these. As a mid handicap golfer who struggles with consistency, I found that in this ball it seems. In the 1 round I 've played with this ball so far I shot 10 strokes under my handicap! Finding more fairways certainly aided in that.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. I had been using the Left Dash with excellent results, especially off the driver. The only drawback was that it sounded and felt a bit firm off my putter and irons though but that was something I could live with given the performance gains. I decided to try the TD and I am very pleased. Same performance gains as the Left Dash but with a slightly better sound and feel. Very impressive.

I was using a new driver as well, but I was getting 8- 10 yards more total distance with that combo. It is a firm ball, but feels good off the face( softer than the X LS of previous generations). Approach shots had a nice mid trajectory and spun more than I thought on very firm greens. Around the green, the ball is predictable: it rolls out when you want it and checks when you want it. Firm greens did have a teeny bit more run out. Feel off the putter is firm. Overall a great ball if you struggle with spin or too high launch.

I went to a Callaway Ball fitting about two months ago and with the help of a Trackman on the range, it was amazing to see the extra, “ POP ” the Chrome Tour X gave me. Off the tee, the spin rate was just right and I ’ m getting a better roll off without having any dispersion issues, and I ’ m getting better results than I was with my last ball,(- X), all around it ’s very durable and plays great around the greens.
