Heard alot about this brand so decided to give them a try. So glad I did- I Love them! I take an 8w and they fit me perfectly. They are wide enough so they don ’ t rub on my bunions but not too wide to where they look like clown shoes! I do alot of walking and they are supportive as well as very comfortable. They cover everything I need to help me keep up with my daily routine! Plus they have some great color choices as well!

Best running shoes I ’ ve ever had. Period. Light and airy, like a glove on my feet. I always have some type of issue with most shoes but not with these. My distances haven ’ t been long, max 6k, but most shoes stay to give me pain and issues after 3k and these have been perfect. I am not exaggerating.

My daughter has bunions and it's hard to find a comfortable shoe for her. She LOVES these shoes and has no complaints after two weeks of wearing them.

Got these for my daughter. She loves them. Her favorite running shoe ever. Cushy and comfy but still pretty light. She's pretty flat- footed and her foot tends to rotate in, so this model with the guide has been good for her. Would recommend if you need cushion and a little support.

Great stability ... this company really knows what they 're doing when they come to making shoes as I have other major namebrand shoes these are definitely my favorite to run in since they are reliable, great fitting, and very durable shoes that you can just put on and not have to...

First pair of the Echelon 10s after three pairs of the 9s. I walk around 20, 000- 25, 000 steps a day in a warehouse. My first pair of the 9s went 583 miles. Second pair 595. Third pair 617. These shoes hold up better than anything else I ’ ve tried. When I start getting to the end of their life, my big toe will just begin to tear into the fabric at the top of the shoe. Will the Echelon 10 give me the same results? I ’ m thinking they will. I get that some shoes aren ’ t for everyone, but these work for me. I have no pain in my feet and they are happy.

Amazing shoe right out of the box. Cured my foot pain within an hour of wearing them!

Just tried my new pair of Echelon 10s. I 'm 74 years old with arthritis, pronation, and flat feet with virtually no arches anymore. These shoes are very comfortable- different from my new Guide 18s and Hurrican 25s but very, very comfortable. They have a great deal of cushion for my tired old feet but not so much arch or pronation correction as the Guide 18s( more) or Hurricane 25s( much more). They feel great walking around the house after spending the day wearing a pair of Saucony shoes with more pronounced foot and ankle corrections. That said, I would recommend all three shoes to anyone whose feet or gait could use some assistance.

These shoes are wonderful for people who wear orthotics They truly are friendly. Shoe is comfortable and stable.

I use these shoes at Orangetheory Fitness. I ’ m mostly a power walker, though I do run for short intervals. They ’ re comfortable and provide good stability and cushioning. The heel is just narrow enough to fit in the foot plates on the rower( a problem I ’ m running into as shoes become more…maximal). If I could return to road running, the Echelons would be a top choice. I wear size 14, and these fit as expected. As far as width goes, they ’ re on the roomier side, but I ’ m not swimming in them.

I bought my Echelon 10 ’s about 6 months ago or so. I wear them everyday. I ’ m on my feet everyday working in the healthcare field. These shoes have come with me as my only shoes to Germany and Austria. Hiking in the Alps, walking on cobblestone, flat surfaces, etc have been a breeze. I also exercise in these outdoor areas asking, gym, riding bikes. I have chronic foot pain and neuropathy and Echelon does not hurt my feet. These are the only shoes I ’ ve gotten in a while, that I can wear them as they come. I usually have to pull out the insole and put my own in there. With these, I don ’ t have to do that. Lifesavers for me!

I have been wearing Saucony for maybe 30 years. I do n't walk as much as I did once, but I still want to only wear Saucony. The fit is always great with no `` breaking in '' which is a no- go for me. These Echelon 10s are really cushy and feel great all of the time. Thank you for such a great product, consistently!

I don ’ t run but these make excellent walking shoes. I do a lot of walking every week and my last pair lasted about a year. The insole compresses which is normal and the inside of the heal where your foot slides in starts to wear and look unsightly. I did notice that on the echelon 10 the ankle on the side of the shoe rubs more than the last pair. I ’ m guessing a slight change in the design made the sides of the opening higher? It ’s not so bad that I can ’ t wear them and I ’ m hoping that that area will break in a little and no longer be a problem.

The foam is very responsive but does n't feel stiff like some other stability shoes I 've tried. It feels very cushioned under foot. The fit is more snug in the midfoot when compared to another Saucony shoe like the Ride 17.

As tempus user I was skeptical of the weight and perhaps that the shoe would overcorrect. Both are a complete non issue and running in these are a joy the powerrunpb is exquisite. Not for tempo sessions but I can hit 10k pace in these no problem. I 'm a lighter runner topping out at 135lbs

Did a first run in this on tired legs and they did their job to minimize impact to my joints. This shoe is comfortable but not quite as soft as Asics Nimbus 27. There is no midsole sink in effect, but this Power run PB formulation is even more compliant than the midsole on the Ride 18. The drop is also far more middle of the road than the Glycerin Max which will definitely work you calves more if under trained for the lower drop. Lastly, it's not as bouncy as either the Brooks or Puma MagMax, but at current discounts the Hurricane is a very competitive shoe. Build quality feels good, but I will know that I had to go with an 11 vs normal 10. 5 in all the other shoes I mentions. I have a slender, not narrow foot so fit in most shoes, but halfing enough room in the toe box is critical for me and the length runs a little short on the Hurricane. It's the same for the Endorphin Speed 4 and Adizero SL2 to offer other shoes I size up in as well. The shoe is heavy as an all around trainer, but is not out of line with the max stack shoe segment. The is a slow run cruiser or recovery run use for me.

I brought these almost a month ago. To be honest, I did not like the way the shoes fit. They gave me Hoka vibes. After about a week, I began to come around. My feet and legs feel great at the end of an eight hour shift, where I 'm standing most of the day. These shoes truly surprises me by comfortable they are.

On my 3rd purchase of this design, and it has changed the way I look at exercise, especially long walks. This design protects, supports and cradles my feet. Hurricane 24s will definitely remain in my arsenal though I understand Hurricane 25 will be out shortly and I look forward to seeing' improvements.' I 'm hoping there are n't any structural changes that would make this sneak in any way less cushioned or supportive.

I have used these for 2 weeks on my 2 plus mile runs. Very happy with the fit. Holds secure on my foot. Size is as expected. These shoes are very comfortable with a lot of cushion and bounce. Happy with my purchase.
Stability shoes are designed to provide support and cushioning for runners who overpronate, meaning their feet roll inward excessively during their stride. These shoes typically feature a firmer midsole on the inner side to help correct this motion and promote a more neutral foot position. They are ideal for runners seeking additional support to enhance comfort and reduce the risk of injury during their runs.
When selecting stability shoes, consider features such as arch support, cushioning levels, and the shoe's overall fit. Look for shoes with a structured design that offers medial support to help control overpronation. Additionally, a durable outsole and breathable upper materials can enhance comfort and performance during runs.
Stability shoes are specifically designed for runners who need extra support due to overpronation, while neutral running shoes cater to those with a neutral gait or who underpronate. Stability shoes typically include features like firmer medial posts and additional cushioning to help guide the foot into a more efficient running position. Understanding your foot type and gait can help you choose the right shoe for your running style.
Yes, stability shoes can be suitable for various activities beyond running, such as walking, gym workouts, or casual wear. Their supportive design can provide comfort and stability during different physical activities, making them versatile footwear options. However, it's essential to ensure that the shoe's features align with the specific demands of the activity you plan to engage in.
The lifespan of stability shoes typically ranges from 300 to 500 miles, depending on factors like the shoe's construction, the runner's weight, and running surfaces. It's important to monitor the shoe for signs of wear, such as reduced cushioning or uneven wear patterns, as these can indicate that it's time for a replacement. Regularly replacing your shoes can help maintain optimal support and performance.
