I have been running in Glycerins or similar Brooks for 6 years, these are completely different and Amazing. It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. Of the 12 pair of Salomons in my house, I had to buy another pair of these. I did n't want to make the mistake of missing these like the black SC3 I had. I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

I bought these shoes at a local running store and I am in love with them! I never thought I could love a tennis shoe more. I bought them specifically for my job. I am a graphic designer most of the time but there are a few times a year that I am a photographer for my work and one is for a week at a time. It ’s about 4 hours of constant walking, bending, crouching and stretching which is not the norm for me. I bought 4 pairs of these SB 2 between August and September of 2024. I run trails only..... Central Ca coastal hills/ mountains.... mtb trails, fire roads, no snow or mud. My bodyweight is 155lbs. I use each pair about once a week and the shoe, particularly the midsole, is n't breaking down or falling apart. If you are running on `` semi maintained `` mostly dirt trails, if you can deal with a higher stack shoe, and your feet work with the Asics lasts, you will find these Superblast 2s to be insanely fun, light weight, pedfecto cushioning, and insanely fast! Two quick and easy mods from me: Stock laces come out and replaced with 50 '' bubble laces. I remove the out of the box fore foot stiffness..... I initially tried manually flexing the fore foot to alleviate the stiffness- and this kind of helped, but I still wanted more flexibility for climbing. I ended up strapping the forefoot back on itself and left it this way for 4 to 6 weeks. This does n't break or hurt the foam, it creates a nice flex zone under the metatarsals= zero resistance for climbing. Generally: shoe is like a Novablast 3tr on steroids. Funner, faster, and lighter than Trabucos, MetaFuji, and Fuji Lites.( I 've bought and tried most Asics trail shoes over last 6 years). Upper is sublime, hardly any overlays and I 'm stuck to the midsole no matter what- generous toe box yet slimmed mid foot and heel. Really comfy with zero foot slop. Midsole.... too good to be true... slow easy pace to full on downhills- all super comfortable and no mush. Lastly, the outsole islands give me just enough grip on dry/damp trails..... I 'd love to see a Superblast TR with Metafuji tread!!!!!! The tounge..... minimally padded, no lace bite on downhills... tounge DOES NOT MOVE AROUND, no migration. This shoe smokes 95% of all trail shoes in the 2025 market. Asics, lets see a legit TR version.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. They are so comfy for longer runs and faster speed runs.

I am a big guy weighing 110kg, but these shoes are so well cushioned that I do n't feel the impact of each footfall in my knees. I have also noticed a significant reduction/absence of the shin splints I used to have. The rockered sole also helps with forward propulsion. I have finally found my new favorite running shoes! I ran in New Balance Beacons for years, but can ’ t get them anymore. I also had foot surgery and need a shoe with a stuff forefoot. I ’ ve tried many of the high cushion shoes such as glycerins, ASICS nimbus and several Hoka shoes and they all fell slow and squishy. After much research, tried the Hyperion Max and I love them. I use them for daily runs are they are stiff and protective, but don ’ t feel sluggish.

A little heavier than the Hyperion 2 but not really a noticeable difference. Loved the Hyperion so much I wanted to get the max for the extra cushioning and am extremely happy I did:) I usually don ’ t like blue but the color way with the coral pink looks lovely! Brooks does not disappoint.

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..
