These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. I prefer Rise 3 much better as a long run and daily trainer companion.

[ I ’ ve got the OG Evo SL, the Woven, and now a pair of these. These are the most stable and structured. I prefer the OG and Woven for flat runs, but this one has versatility for bad roads and some off- road work. It is still too unstable, for me, for single- track trail work. But for just about anything else it is great. A little less exciting than the OG, but sometimes I need that. From an appearance perspective this one looks really mean, in a good way.

I wasn ’ t sure if I would like them because I heard they were stiffer than the SL ’s but I was impressed! They are very comfortable and the waterproofing is actually really good( I ’ ve ran through 5 inches of snow and feet stayed dry). My only minor issues with the shoes: they are a little heavy( to be expected for what they added vs SL) and the lugs are pretty small. Even though they are small compared to other winter shoes, they still make the traction far superior to the SL ’s during winter runs but don ’ t expect to go on snowy /icy trails in these and not risk slipping a little. I used them to run on paved snowy/icy paths and they got the job done. Overall, really great addition for my winter runs especially at this price point!

I had seriously injured my leg 2 months ago and my physical therapist suggested I buy Asics, which I did. I 've ALWAYS been a Nike fan though but she said the soles were n't stiff enough. `` One '' of the multiple injuries was a badly broken toe which ca n't be fixed bc its too late. It will take a year to heal, I 'm told. In the meantime, every shoe I 've worn, causes pain... until these!!! I 'm SO happy. This shoe has completely revived my running and is the best shoe I have ever worn. I 've been a distance runner since 1984 and wore Pegs for much of my life. Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

[ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

I ’ ve loved my EVO SLs, but was looking to diversify my lineup a bit. Training a bit more for speed at distance, and as part of that my long runs have changed from primarily mile eating easy runs to some more focused work or containing some segments of higher speed within the long runs. As part of that, I wanted a shoe that could eat miles comfortably, but also be closer to what my race shoes are( picked up a pair of AP4 ’s under a hundred). These looked to fit the bill. First few runs great. Not as zippy, soft, springy,( or unstable) as the EVO SLs, but I can still really push in them. At bit more room in the upper/toebox as well. Comfortable throughout long distance, I ’ m looking forward to racking up some heavy miles on these guys.
