I bought this shoe when it first came out and after trying it for a few weeks, I was worried it might sell out. It is the best sneaker I have ever had, no kidding. The cushy craze is not normally my thing because I feel like I 'm falling off of the sides, but I love my Escalantes so much I thought I 'd give it a try. Glad I did! Cushioning is just the right amount of comfort and offers enough feeling of contact with the ground that I need to feel stable. Hope they stay in rotation!

For the last several years, I have had a pair or two of Adidas in my stable. I had a pair of Adios and when those were ready to retire, tried the Boston 12( which I absolutely adored and got so many miles in). I was really tempted to buy another pair of Bostons but decided to try the EVO Sl instead. No regrets. The foam is awesome, the sole is super sturdy and great for a day( but especially wet conditions), and the fit and styling are perfection. Highly recommend for a versatile daily trainer.

These are great- highly cushioned but stable. I would use these on moderate trails but nothing too technical. My only complaint would be the padded tongue- it's hot! The shoe fits wider than typical Nikes.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ā re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ā re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ā re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ā m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ā t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ās meant to be fast and agile. But I don ā t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ā re definitely gon na feel that. I ā m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ās no break in time with Nike ever and I ā m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

Not being a stranger to On Cloud shoes, I bought these from the sale table( my size is hardly ever on a sale table at Dicks!). They fit perfect, color was not my first choice but could not resist the price. Like my other On Clouds, they are perfect fit, but you do run 1/2 size too small. They are very light, fit like slippers and walk and run very well as they cushion your feet. Like other On Clouds, be careful not to scrape or use them for harsh conditions as they will tear or a hole can happen. They are meant for light to medium wearing conditions and do very well at that.

The shoe is great super comfy and great fit! Great fit to your foot and just over all great style. Only thing I ā m disappointed with Nike! They had low to little stock on the black ones and they sent me a worn returned shoe! It was lightly worn. I have a pair so I compared creases and lil to no crease on the new pair so I kept them but do better Nike do better also order your size don ā t size up
