I am a saltwater fisherman, and I have never fished for trout, so I figured I ’ d try and give myself an advantage over my coworker who is a trout fisherman, since I use florocarbon for my leaders and it is very effective when I fish anything from Porgies and Blackfish to Stripers and Blues,( and it is lethal with the Stripers) So we fished the rivers in North Jersey in the spring and on my 1st cast I was able to land a 15 ” rainbow, I ended with 6 fish within 3 hours and kept 3 and my buddy ended up catching 3.
