The more I read about farmer's carry, the more I believe it should be a major part of everyone's workout. It activates essentially every muscle group, including working cardiovascular strength, and especially targets forearms and traps. I got these bars on sale but they 're worth it even at full price. I 've been using them every day, alternating heavy carries one day and lighter the next, just added on to my normal workout for the day. You have no excuse to not own a pair. Seriously.

Shopped around for some farmer carry bars and what drew my attention to these besides the great price was the knurled grips that I did n't see most if not all of the others. I ordered them on a Friday and they were delivered on Wednesday. The packaging was in good shape and there were no flaws in the finish of the bars. The bars weighed in at 22. 2lbs each on my bathroom scale. There is 12 '' of sleeve length which will allow for plenty of weight. They came with 4 spring collars which is a good thing because standard spring collars are too big. But less than standard olympic sleeve diameter seems to be the norm with all these carry bars. I did find that my hex collars will also work on them, just not as tight as on an Olympic bar. I 'm very happy with the purchase and ca n't wait to try them out.

Just got them and tried them out. Paint on collars is fragile, but I 'm not sure why the collars are painted anyway( main reason for 4 not 5 stars). They seem well built otherwise and held up to the 220# I had on each of them. They are well balanced and provided quite a workout. The knurling is pretty agressive, but similar to powerlifting bars. Chalk helped.

During the pandemic, I drove from Charlotte to Greenville/Spartanburg to buy some dumbbells. I saw an Ethos barbell on the floor in the store and decided to buy it as well. Great buy! This barbell got me through the pandemic doing CrossFit WODs on my garage. I drop it from overhead squats with no problem. I deadlift 385 and the bar is still straight. No rust. Still spins perfectly fine. I think at the time it only cost around$ 150. At$ 250, I honestly might just go to Fringe, given the difference in customer ratings. It's been great for me though.

Bought the 50 '' rails for my 2015 Rogue and using the included spacers, they are a perfect fit. Rails feel very tight and secure. Steal bars are strong and rubber coating does n't scratch up my kayak( like the first set of cheaper rails I bought that had to be returned for that reason). Easy to install and remove with the turn of the supplied Allen wrench. Notice a slight `` hum '' from the wind Without the kayak- after 45 mph, however No Sound at all With the kayak strapped on the rails- getting just over 60mph. Theft resistant Locks completely detach from the bracket so keep them close by. If you are constantly removing and installing, I would suggest marking guide lines near the brackets so you do n't waste time centering the rails over the car each time. Great quality and gets the job done.

It's a decent weight set. The problem I have is that when I called customer service to ask if the bar was one piece, I was told it was. I wanted the one bar strength in order to increase the weight. They were wrong. It is a 3 piece bar that is screwed together. It seems sturdy but I 'm not sure exactly how much weight the bar will hold now.

I bought the kit for the Outback but the Aeroblades I ordered are n't long enough to tie off a 4x8 sheet on the rack, so I exchanged them for the Probars. Aeroblades for the Outback are n't available long enough. The Probars are plenty long and you can cut them shorter if you want. I 'd been looking for a bar system that would fit the short roof rack length on the Outback, and this is good because you can get the mounts pretty far forward and back. Just remember that the rear pivoting bar on the 2020 Outback can be moved back, which gives you more room.

Just got the ProBar Evos last month as they came in the longest bar length at 200cm and I needed to fit a canoe and Thule cargo box on them. I am so stoked on them. I had previously purchased the square bars for my Jetta because I thought, how big a deal could it be!? Turns out, a BIG deal. The square bars whistled a LOT. So a few years went buy and I could n't stand it so I bought these Evo bars and I finally feel relaxed when riding in the car with the box on top, even on the highway. The Thule WingBar Evo is well made and of high- quality. Assembly will probably take you around 2 hours or less, depending on how familiar you are with roof rack assembly. I would recommend this product to friends and family. A few critiques for Thule:( 1) for the rubber stripping, I had to cut off a few millimeters in order for it to fit the bar. Just manufacture the rubber to the length of the bar- this felt like a very unnecessary step.( 2) a little more guidance could be provided in your instruction manual. Look into adding some text to describe the setup process.
