I bought two of these, one with regular and heavy neck protection. I have used both- this one works much better for sporting events where you will be sitting still for longer periods as it is too warm for me during strenous activity. Keeping your ears and neck warm is difficult in near freezing drizzle even with a hat when you are sitting still. This works.

This is perfect for the mountain and is slim enough to fit under a helmet with no issues. The neoprene mouth covering with holes is warm enough but lets air escape and the fleece neckwarmer attached is great.

The fleece neck warmer is great at keeping the cold air out of your little ones' jacket! The stretchy, nylon top is slightly larger for my four year old as it's not tight to his face. His only complaint is the sides( seam around the face opening) touch his long eyelashes. I think next year, it will fit better.
