I bought these for shin guards for softball( pitcher), after getting drilled in the thigh last season, I know it's matter of time before I take one in the shins. I 'm 5' 10 '' and went the 15 '' guards and they fit quit well. They cover a few inches above the knee and right above the top of my cleats. Very light weight so they do n't slow you do n't while running. Highly recommend for shin protection, hockey or softball.

I bought these for my dek season, very light weight but super protective. The only down side is they only come in 13 or 15 for adult. If you are a true 14 inch the 13's are too short and the 15 will cut your feet up for being too long. I took some scissors to them and cut the bottom down a little and now they fit perfectly.

These are the only `` shinnies '' that most leagues allow for dek hockey. Durable. The only thing you will need more of are the straps that come with it. Because you will lose them during play.
