My daughter needed a chest protector for softball 12u. Do to growing/expanding in the chest area I kept having to buy her a new chest plate forms every 2 months( which can get costly) so we decided to give this a try instead. She worn it for 2 seasons now and has been very happy with it. As she grows it continues to form to her to make a perfect fit. I was afraid it 'd be bulky and get in the way since it's a little thicker then the other chest guards but She wears it on the pitching mound and says its not bulky and does n't get in the way and it's comfortable.
