Nice boots. I always order a wide in a cowboy boot and have several pairs of Rebels in wide. These are WIDE and the toe area is really, really tall. Like wiggle your toes and not touch the top tall. I am not sure why these fit so much different than all my other Rebels but they do. To solution, I added another insole on top of the non- removable insole already in the boot( this was also a first as all my other Rebels have a removable insole). I am still happy with them, but they certainly fit different. Additionally, they are substantially darker brown than the pictures would indicate. I hope this helps someone!

At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. These are the most comfortable and easiest to break in boots I ’ ve owned in 50+ years of cowboy boot ownership. I was a total R toe with leather sole devotee until I bought these square toe/ composite sole/ walking heel Durango boots. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. All of my boots make that nice “ whoosh sound ” when putting them on… However the Durango boots are so much more comfortable for all day wear( and go whoosh). Great padding/ insert. My favorite boot style! This is my second pair and the color on these is perfect. My first are my daily wear shoes for work as a large animal vet assistant and I put 4 to 10 miles on them every shift and am on my feet 9- 11 hours a day. I love these boots. They are the only ones that fit me correctly. I started wearing the Rebel in 2018. I work 14 to 16 hours a day in the oil field so they ’ ve lasted well for me. I ’ m ordering my third pair today. Someone posted pics of the stitching coming apart and the inner lining pulled out. Mine end their lives in the same manner but last nearly three years. The first thing I like about these boots is how shockingly comfortable they are, I have never had a pair of work shoes/boots that have been this comfortable. Second they are quite durable, they have survived 4 months of abusive 12+ hour work days on our farm and still appear to have quite a lot of life left. This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.
