I been wearing these boots for a couple of years now. They are the best work boot I 've ever worn. I have a pair of the 4. 5 '' and these 8 '' I wear them at different times depending on the job. These are perfect if you have a wide foot but not too wide. Regular boots are usually too narrow for me. Wide boots are usually too wide. I was told that Danner Boots run `` Narrow '' That probably is true cause the wide ones fit me perfect. Not too wide like the other brands.

As soon as I received Merrell's email about these several weeks ago, I was intrigued. I really liked their look and style; plus being waterproof was also a benefit. As soon as I saw that they had gone on Merrell's Holiday discount, I grabbed a pair at a great price. I 've been wearing Moabs for years and they have all been exceptional. I did notice that the footbed under the ball of my foot seemed to be a bit thinner than my other Moabs. However, it might simply be that these Moab 3 Luxe have a more aggressive tread. Either way, after a day or so the footbed cradled to my foot, and I 've been delighted. I still do need to get used to the newer thinner slightly flatter laces, and do wish they were a few inches longer.

This shoe is a reinvention of the Moab Smooth from a few years ago that was probably the best boot made by this company. In this new version there have been some upgrades in terms of styling, but as with the original one of the best features is that it's much more water resistant than the traditional boot with the brushed or `` suede '' style material. None of their boots are truly waterproof but this one probably comes the closest so it's my favorite and I 've bought several pairs already.

I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. After a few days of break in, they are super comfortable. The quality is awesome. I hate shoes where the glued sole comes loose and starts flapping. These are made of heavy boot leather and the stitched goodyear welt means they wont come loose and can be resoled when you wear them out. For the price I DEFINITELY recommend these shoe/boots

Ca n't say enough about how comfortable these feel. They 're roomy, pliable, and comfortable on the course. I 'm new to golf, started playing last summer and have just begun getting more serious about playing. Wanted to get a pair of golf shoes so I went into golf galaxy and tried on some options, but so many models felt narrow and stiff. I prefer a wide shoe and even the wide sizes did n't feel wide enough in the toes for me with other brands. But when I tried these on there were exactly what I was looking for. The toebox is very roomy and does n't feel like they 're constricting my feet. The leather is a soft, pliable leather that moves well and does n't feel stiff. Comfort wise they are great. So much so that I 've been contemplating buying the trainer version of these shoes for everyday wear. I went a 1/2 size down. I 'm a true 10. 5 but found their 10. 5 was a little big for me, so went with a 10 and they fit like a glove. Waterproofing is good. Wore them for an early morning round with dew on the ground and my feet stayed dry. If you 're looking for something that has a wider fit, is comfortable, and does n't feel stiff then these are a great option.

I am a mechanic and have had these boots for about two years now. got new insoles about a month ago because the original ones flattened out. my back used to hurt before i got these boots but does not anymore. i ’ ve tried ariats to danners and have never found the one boot that has ever been comfortable to wear for long periods of time until i tried these. the “ non slip ” outsole really help when there is rogue spilled coolant or oil on the ground and the slip on feature helps when you need to climb inside a car in an awkward position really quick and just need to slip off the boots so you don ’ t get the car dirty. i am buying the chelsea version of these to wear casually because these boots are just the best.
