I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. After a few days of break in, they are super comfortable. The quality is awesome. I hate shoes where the glued sole comes loose and starts flapping. As soon as I received Merrell's email about these several weeks ago, I was intrigued. I really liked their look and style; plus being waterproof was also a benefit. As soon as I saw that they had gone on Merrell's Holiday discount, I grabbed a pair at a great price. I 've been wearing Moabs for years and they have all been exceptional. I did notice that the footbed under the ball of my foot seemed to be a bit thinner than my other Moabs. However, it might simply be that these Moab 3 Luxe have a more aggressive tread. Either way, after a day or so the footbed cradled to my foot, and I 've been delighted. I still do need to get used to the newer thinner slightly flatter laces, and do wish they were a few inches longer.

I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

These will likely be my golf shoe of 2021. Yes, I get a few pairs of new golf shoes every season. I walk the course and play about 100 rounds so by the end of the season, the mid soles have compressed and they need to be retired, or else my feet and knees hurt. I bought one pair of these and they were excellent in all aspects. They have classic good looks, fit beautifully, have great traction on all surfaces, and are incredibly comfortable walking the course. They ’ re easy to clean, which I do after every round. I like them so much that I ’ ve now purchased three different colors and will likely just go for all four. They also didn ’ t have any break in period, perfectly good to go straight onto the course right out of the box. So far they seem to be durable, but let ’s give them a full season to prove it. I haven ’ t worn them in wet conditions, but I have been on the course on dewy mornings and evenings, and so far they have kept my feet dry. The price comes in well under classic red wing and Chippewa boots and these are way more comfortable in my humble opinion. The sizing is fairly true to size with medium to thicker socks but I ’ d dize down 1/2 if wearing thin socks. I ’ m very stoked on these boots!

I bought my second pair of these approximately a month ago. My last pair I used to backpack the Himalayas twice, Colorado, North Carolina and North Georgia. I also used them as my go to hunting boot as well. They 're heavy duty and it taken care of will last for years and years. I brought the leather back to life on mine using mink oil several times. They look good with a pair of jeans as well and make a great statement when worn in. I hated to let my other pair go and buy another pair but they served me well for over a decade. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

I been wearing these boots for a couple of years now. They are the best work boot I 've ever worn. I have a pair of the 4. 5 '' and these 8 '' I wear them at different times depending on the job. These are perfect if you have a wide foot but not too wide. Regular boots are usually too narrow for me. Wide boots are usually too wide. I was told that Danner Boots run `` Narrow '' That probably is true cause the wide ones fit me perfect. Not too wide like the other brands.

I 'm new to golf, started playing last summer and have just begun getting more serious about playing. Wanted to get a pair of golf shoes so I went into golf galaxy and tried on some options, but so many models felt narrow and stiff. I prefer a wide shoe and even the wide sizes did n't feel wide enough in the toes for me with other brands. But when I tried these on there were exactly what I was looking for. The toebox is very roomy and does n't feel like they 're constricting my feet. The leather is a soft, pliable leather that moves well and does n't feel stiff. Comfort wise they are great. So much so that I 've been contemplating buying the trainer version of these shoes for everyday wear. I went a 1/2 size down. I 'm a true 10. 5 but found their 10. 5 was a little big for me, so went with a 10 and they fit like a glove. Waterproofing is good. Wore them for an early morning round with dew on the ground and my feet stayed dry. If you 're looking for something that has a wider fit, is comfortable, and does n't feel stiff then these are a great option.
