As soon as I received Merrell's email about these several weeks ago, I was intrigued. I really liked their look and style; plus being waterproof was also a benefit. As soon as I saw that they had gone on Merrell's Holiday discount, I grabbed a pair at a great price. I 've been wearing Moabs for years and they have all been exceptional. I did notice that the footbed under the ball of my foot seemed to be a bit thinner than my other Moabs. However, it might simply be that these Moab 3 Luxe have a more aggressive tread. Either way, after a day or so the footbed cradled to my foot, and I 've been delighted. I still do need to get used to the newer thinner slightly flatter laces, and do wish they were a few inches longer.

I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. Merrell mocks are the most comfortable everyday shoes on the planet. Even though the Numbuck model is the same structure as the less expensive Merrell mock, the Numbuck seems more comfortable to me. [ My first pair of TNF shoes. I had been living in my Salomon GTX's for the whole season and wanted something fresh to wear through fall. I chose these because they were Futurelight and I 've been impressed with that material in my jacket I bought last year. So far I 've been impressed with the shoe. The fit was excellent at 11. 5 and they are so light and comfortable I 've been using them more and more often. There seems to be a sort of 'spring' in each step when I 'm fast pacing, a nice surprise. I 've not had an opportunity to test them for waterproofing but for light rain/puddles my feet have stayed completely dry. I 've also only had chance to wear them on short hikes, less than 3hrs, so I ca n't say how they hold up on long journeys, but I 'm guessing they will do just fine!

These shoes are so comfortable. Doesn ’ t really need break in time. Most leather requires some time( a few days) to get soften. These felt like running shoes, yet offering ankle support. Beware though. They are waterproof and not as breathable as running shoes. So it ’s a little too warm. The soles are soft too. Luckily the Vibram offers more traction and durability than standard running shoes. However, it ’s squeaky on tile floors when wet. Good purchase.

Also note that these leather ones are more comfortable than the Speed 2 Goretex version... I tried on that pair and the cut outs for the ankle were higher and rubbed my ankle. There is no rubbing on these, however they are slightly heavier than the Speed 2 goretex. I imagine because this uses leather.

Not particularly light for “ barefoot ” shoes- but they are the first barefoot shoes that I ’ ve worn( and I ’ ve tried a dozen types) where I cold walk on sharp rocks and still feel adequately protected. The souls have phenomenal traction. They are extremely comfortable with or without socks. And, for barefoot shoes, they look good.

I really love my boots. It ’s now my 4th pair. I like how Dr. Martens can be dressed up or dressed down. I wear them to work giving a professional look, but then I can still rock them at happy hour with a dressed down look. If you never had a pair they are heavy. They weigh at least 4- 5 pounds.

I love the boots, they are light weight and the heel has good cushion( bad lower back). The canvas area was making some non tactical noise but has since diminished with short use. I purchased my first pair of Gore- Tex lined Danner boots for Ranger school class 5- 87 and loved Danner boots ever since! Sad I could n't wear my RGR school boots in BN...

[ I got these as a sample to review however they are now one of my favorite boots for going out/going to work in. I think they are super stylish and they are very durable. I have had them in the snow and slush many times and they have good traction. The sole washes off easily too in case you do n't want the salt to stay. They are quite comfortable and true to size. I would buy other pairs in other colors just because I like the style so much.

[ The boots are stylish and sturdy. They look well made and durable. I would say these are business casual and would be great as everyday boots or slightly dressed up for an event. The lighter gray/brown part of the shoe is suede texture and the forest green part has a grid texture that feels like it might be water resistant. The overall feel of the shoe is comfortable but they are wide. I am normally a 9- 9. 5, I got a size 9 and they are still a bit big for my feet, mostly width wise. The tongue also has a lot of padding, which is nice. Overall a great sturdy shoe that can be used for multiple occasions!

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I have been looking for a Non- Slip Work Shoe/Boot for 15 years and I think I hit the Jackpot!!! I have been a Georgia Boot Customer since I was in high school and could afford to splurge on my own boots so I am a huge fan. I am a chef and had not thought about Georgia Boots for the kitchen and that is a mistake I am so happy I am fixing. Non- Slip is great but the comfort is hands down the best I have found after 15 years of trying a different company every 6 months I wo n't leave Georgia Boots from now on. This is my shoe.
