They ’ re not loose slip ons like crocs, they require you to like put in a little effort to get them on but I got them on without untying the original ties. The heel is sturdy enough that it didn ’ t collapse under my own heel when I slid it in, which is nice. The first like 10- 15 steps squeaked a little but it very quickly went away.

I order a wide width in Z's but these were fine, I am usually a medium width. I did size down from my regular 7. 5 and they fit perfect. I was a bit skeptical at first due to the mixed reviews but ultimately decided the price at the time was something I couldn ’ t miss out on and was a risk I was willing to take! On our trip, they proved to be waterproof( at least up the ankle of course) and had a great fit. I first broke them in on our trip and they were very comfortable. I ’ ve used them again and again on hiking adventures and just for regular use and they ’ re awesome! I have wide feet and they didn ’ t feel as tight as other reviews have mentioned. What I can say is they felt secure and that ’s always a plus when it comes to hiking footwear!
