After searching through local sports stores, at the rink, big box stores and websites, we finally chose the Chicago boys rink skates for our 4 and 1/2 year old grandson. They are easy to get on and off, support his ankles, and glide smoothly around the basement floor. They are also suited for the indoor roller rink, which he will be going to soon for a party. He uses them to play roller hockey. Although the shoe is a vinyl, it looks and feels almost like leather-- too bad they still are n't made with leather. We purchased them two sizes bigger than he wears for growth. He wears long sports socks over his regular socks, and that works fine. I would recommend these skates over others that we found at big box stores.

My foot is normal to a little narrow, I would n't recommend it for people with wide feet... it says on the box that it comes with an Allen wrench but it did n't come with it:(,, it comes with an insole included which would be your size 10, if you remove it it reaches 10. 5.. it comes with 2 red/black braids.. If I could rate it with half stars I would give 4. 5 stars. I love that the size of the skates can change but my almost 3 year old has big feet so he is already using them with the biggest size. So he will outgrow them quickly. I love that these come with the protective pads so he is safe while using these skates. He still needs to learn how to balance even with the learner mode but with practice I ’ m sure he will get better! Great product and very innovative! The size chart was not helpful. According to their chart I should 've been a 7 but they were took small. It would be great if they had these in store so I could try them on... I love the rainbow style but the laces are too short. I do think they are good basic skates. Especially for those who want more ankle mobility. Loosen the wheels and they ride smooth indoor or outdoors

Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.

[ My son was real excited to get this skateboard as he loves Minecraft currently and enjoys the graphics of the `` creeper '' on the deck. The grip tape holds well and has a great grip, also it has `` Minecraft '' wording on the grip tape. My husband was also able to ride and do a few tricks on it although I would recommend it for kids/teens. The wheels can be a bit slippery on smooth surfaces but that may go away once they get worn in a little more. Overall the durability and appearance of this board seems great.

It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. These skates paid for themselves as far as I am concerned and they are comparable to much higher priced skates.

I 'm back on inlines after 22+ years off skates( last on 5- wheel/80mm Simmons, RacerBlades, and ProBlades in 1999- as a 10+ year ultra- distance road skater: A2A, NY100K, etc.)- and the Maxxum XT did not disappoint. Great boot, liner, height,& wheel- size@ 90mm: good support, comfortable, not too much of a jump in height( 80mm> 90mm), solid wheels& fast bearings. Extremely satisfied. If I make the jump to 110mm wheels, would plan to get these in that size( I 'd get the 125mm boots, and downsize the wheels).
