The original skate was too small I got online with Dick's Chat line and within a few minutes a return was processed and a replacement skate was ordered in the correct size. I received the replacement skate in 3 days and the return slip was emailed to me the same day. Dick's went ahead and shipped the skate without me having to purchase the same pair and before they received the incorrect pair back in stock. This was not Dick's error but mine, I ordered the wrong size. The skate is great it looks like a good quality of material and is what I expected. For sporting goods Dick's will get my business.

I wear a shoe size 9 and these skates fit fine in a size 10 while wearing a somewhat thick sock( winter sock that I wear with casual boots). A size 9 might have fit but definitely not a size 8. I like the Velcro strap for pulling extra tight and keeping the long laces tucked out of the way. They seem like good quality skates- I 'm only skating on my backyard rink so they 're not going to get a lot of hard use.

These skates are my sister's but she has gone off to college so I have been practicing skating at our local outdoor rink. Even though these are ladies skates I want to practice using her figure skates until I get good at skating. So far I really like the feel and fit of these skates and my feet never get tired. As a young boy we could n't afford hockey skates so I always wore my sisters figure skates. Much later when I was now on my own I took back into ice skating but this time wearing men's hockey skates. The problem with the men's skates they did n't have toe picks and that was what I really missed. These Tricot Figure Skates in ladies size 11 fit me perfect and they are exactly what I needed to be able to enjoy ice skating again. I have found them to be in terrific working order and have n't seen the need to replace anything just yet.
