The original skate was too small I got online with Dick's Chat line and within a few minutes a return was processed and a replacement skate was ordered in the correct size. I received the replacement skate in 3 days and the return slip was emailed to me the same day. Dick's went ahead and shipped the skate without me having to purchase the same pair and before they received the incorrect pair back in stock. This was not Dick's error but mine, I ordered the wrong size. The skate is great it looks like a good quality of material and is what I expected. For sporting goods Dick's will get my business.

As a young boy we could n't afford hockey skates so I always wore my sisters figure skates. Much later when I was now on my own I took back into ice skating but this time wearing men's hockey skates. A lot of the reviews say to buy a size smaller, but I just bought a 9 women's( I 'm typically an 8- 9 normal shoes, and an 8 in men's skates) and they fit pretty well. While there's definitely some extra room, I laced them a bit tighter and they fit perfectly. The boot goes about an inch or two more up your leg than average rink rental skates, so they have more support and feel more `` attached '' to your leg. The toe stops are pretty large and flat( not peg- shaped), so it's really easy to slow down or stop. They do weigh 7. 5 pounds total, so be prepared for a workout. Because of that, it may also be harder to sustain high speeds unless you 're really working at it, but it's been easier for me to stop or slow down quickly. Overall, they feel very sturdy and strong, they do n't hurt my feet or give me blisters, and they roll very nicely. No adjustments required; I skated on them for a few hours immediately after opening the box. They worked very well on the smooth concrete sidewalks at the park, but rolled a little bit easier and faster at the indoor skating rink, so be advised. I ordered them on a Friday; they took about 5 business days to ship. I had to call to change my address while the order was in route, and the customer service representative was very helpful. Overall, great product.

Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

My only complaint is the boot comes with the laces loosely tied so there is no shape to the boot. You really have to cinch down the laces hard to get a snug fit and start to reshape the boots.

Idk why I was so surprised that the outer shell is plastic, somehow in my mind I had made it out to be leather, in either case these are beautiful skates. The inside boot is very soft, warm and fluffy. I had A LOT of anxiety picking the size. I ’ m size 9 women US, 40 EU and if I had ordered what the chart says I should have ordered skate size 7 but I didn ’ t I ordered 8 since a neighbor who is an ice hockey ref told me order one size down Bauer skate size as opposed to your shoes size. I ordered 8 skate size and it fits perfectly although the box says 42 EU. Sizing is way out of wack. Just order one size down in skate sizing from your shoe size.

Got these as beginner skates for getting back into skating this year. I 've used 3 different rentals from different skating rinks and this has definitely outperformed all of them. They feel really stable and snug around the ankle( which is why I tend not to like figure skates) and they look great. I would definitely recommend them. Not sure if this is relevant but I 'm about 155 lbs, and use these for leisure ice skating, not triple axels lol. These are obviously not figure skates, I 'm not sure why other reviewers are so confused and expected them to be.
