[ I used this brand on my old bike and it stood up to ware and tear like a champ. So I purchased a new one for my new bike. I commute a short distance to/from work( ~6 miles round trip). I hated wearing my backpack on hot summer days. I bought this basket and it easily attached to a pretty low- end back rack and works like a champ! my backpack fits right in and I secure with a 12in bungee cord that easily hooks on to the side lattice work on the basket. It's light, so does n't add much weight. 10 out of 10, would buy again, but hopefully it holds up for 10+ years:)

I had been using an old crate so this is definitely an upgrade in the looks department. It's well built and easily attached to my Surly 24- pack front rack. The mounting is n't difficult, but seems more complicated than it needs to be. My only beef is that the dimensions are a little misleading as it's slightly tapered so something that might fit in the top wo n't go all the way to the bottom. A minor quibble- but worth noting. Overall, I 'm happy and will likely get a second one for my other bike.

I have been surprised and quite pleased at this basket. The size is Impressive. Holds my large hiking backpack along with water bottles for my family of 6. The stability is fantastic. I took maybe 10 minutes to install and have only wanted to add more to ever one of my children ’s bikes now as well.

[ So this bag does exactly what it should. However I think they intend for this to be more of an over the shoulder bag than a hip pack- just because as I mentioned in the title, the strap is a bit short. It fits me, but I have a 32 inch waist. All in all agree Bach that again performs how it should.
