I have n't been an active cyclist in about 7 years. I am finally getting geared up again. My experience with smartphone holders in the past was terrible. I knew that manufacturers just had n't figured out a good solution yet. Zippers, bags with plastic screen protectors that did n't work, one size DID NOT fit all, especially for Android. Then I found this. Although it's not battle tested by me yet, this design is superb. I 'm so impressed by the stem mount option. Other reviews say it breaks easily. I 've been purchasing Camelbak packs going on 16 years and now have at least one designated to each activity I do; running, MTB, Cycling, Hiking, and working outside. I would say I still love the fit and durability of each different style I have( the one I use for working outside is the first Rogue I purchased in 2008), and I 'm really happy Camelbak finally upgraded the bite valve design, but the added magnetic clip placement still needs a more permanent home to affix to on the shoulder strap or chest strap, or something. When the only place to affix it to is somewhere along the adjustable side of the chest strap it's just never in a constant place to mindlessly clip it back in. Otherwise, I 'm still a loyal and satisfied user.

Our family of 3 riders has a lot of STUFF! This bag gives everyone a neat way of organizing and keeping our gear separated from one another. The compartments and the small zipper pocket are our favorites. Everyone even has their own color! We use them as our daily gear transport but can easily see this working for an extended bike trip. The long carry strap is super comfortable and well placed. Also love the 3 top handles. If you do n't have the top zip closed you can still grab by the two side handles and move it around without dumping it.

So far, having been through Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with me, through some torrential rain, they have been pretty great. The outer pocket is a nice place to store a rain coat. My only complaint is that the old ortliebs used to have straps on top that could be used to strap down a mat or something and these don ’ t, but i certainly wish they did!

A perfect complement to my Burley Coho XC trailer. It ’s a nice fit into the trailer with a little bit of room on the edges. If you want to talk, some other goodies in the rolltop works well, but the clips on the side may not be in the best position. Otherwise, a great light weight bag to keep my gear dry on weekend trips to the Cape and Islands in northern Vermont. Nice being able to get on a ferry with a trailer and not need a car reservation and be able to carry everything you need rain or shine.

I commute a short distance to/from work( ~6 miles round trip). I hated wearing my backpack on hot summer days. I bought this basket and it easily attached to a pretty low- end back rack and works like a champ! my backpack fits right in and I secure with a 12in bungee cord that easily hooks on to the side lattice work on the basket. I had been using an old crate so this is definitely an upgrade in the looks department. It's well built and easily attached to my Surly 24- pack front rack. The mounting is n't difficult, but seems more complicated than it needs to be. My only beef is that the dimensions are a little misleading as it's slightly tapered so something that might fit in the top wo n't go all the way to the bottom. A minor quibble- but worth noting. Overall, I 'm happy and will likely get a second one for my other bike.

I liked my old one so much that I 'm replacing it with the same pack after a mouse chewed it up looking for a granola bar that was left in it during the off season. There is a surprisingly large amount of space. I can carry both a small first aid kit for me( including a SAM splint) and the bike( extra tube, tools, and CO2 cartridges) in this pack. I combine this pack with a water bottle on the bike for longer rides, and I have n't found myself lacking water on a ride yet( sub 20 mile mtb rides.) Really comfortable on rides, and feels secure.

I use it to hold treats or clean bags. It does also have enough space for a collapsible water bowl. I use the Burley sleeve to carry the water bottle separately. Nice and sturdy.
