Good option for weedless ned rig ... This product is solid and easy to rig on my fishing pole. ... Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds

The pics here are not correct. This is the pro bulletz in the pics. The finesse bullets do not have the big bulbous weight. But, these are great jig heads for fishing in weedy areas. I put a Z- Man Trick Shots Bad Shad on a 1/6 ounce size, and was slaying the bass at a local pond. Hooks are sharp, and the rig was able to get through most weeds easily. Only got hung up in some really heavy grasses a couple of times, but I was able to get out without losing, or even damaging, any tackle.

This is great. Until I bought this I have n't seen a weedless hook for z- man trd. Getting snagged was about the only down side to the trd z- man ned rigs. I 'm happy to have them now.

I hate finesse fishing. I get bored. I like to cover water and power fish. That said, this combined with a Z Craw has been awesome. I can drag and hop this and still cover water. I ’ m catching a lot of bass with this setup.

I love these finesse hooks. Great for crappie lures.

Nedrigfish228
I have caught more numbers of smallmouth and panfish on the z- man micro finesse lures than any lure I ’ ve tried. This is a great creek and small river lure. I ’ ve caught a few nice sized bass, but I would recommend the bigger zman ned jigheads if you ’ re looking for 18 ”+ smallies. The lures are tough, don ’ t tear up like most soft plastics.

These jig heads have a flat head that creates the movement that seems to really attract the fish. Coupled with the Trout Magnet colored bodies these things are a great lure to have in your tackle box. Great for kids fishing Sunnies and Crappies at the edge of the pond or lake.
A small jig head is a type of fishing tackle designed to be used with soft plastic lures or live bait. It typically features a weighted head that helps the lure sink and move through the water, mimicking the action of prey. Anglers use small jig heads for various fishing techniques, including vertical jigging and casting, making them versatile for targeting different species.
Small jig heads are often made from materials like lead, tungsten, or other metals that provide the necessary weight for sinking. The hooks are usually made from high-carbon steel or stainless steel, ensuring strength and durability. Some jig heads may also feature coatings or finishes to enhance their resistance to corrosion and improve their visibility in the water.
Small jig heads offer several advantages, including versatility in various fishing environments and the ability to target a wide range of fish species. Their compact size allows for more natural presentations, making them effective for finesse fishing techniques. Additionally, the weighted design helps anglers maintain better control over their lure's depth and movement in the water.
Yes, there are various styles of small jig heads, each designed for specific fishing techniques and conditions. Some may have a round head for a more traditional presentation, while others feature unique shapes like bullet or mushroom heads to enhance their performance in specific environments. The choice of style can affect how the jig moves through the water and how it interacts with the bottom structure.
Small jig heads are ideal for several fishing techniques, including finesse fishing, drop-shotting, and vertical jigging. They can be effective in both freshwater and saltwater environments, making them suitable for targeting species like bass, crappie, and panfish. The ability to adjust the weight and presentation allows anglers to adapt to varying conditions and fish behaviors.
Choosing the right small jig head depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting, the fishing environment, and the lure you plan to use. Consider the weight of the jig head to match the depth and current conditions, as well as the hook size to ensure compatibility with your chosen bait. Additionally, think about the style of jig head that will best suit your fishing technique and preferences.
