Fit and waterproofing is great on this. We went with the high visibility color for snow safety and it's gender neutral to be passed down. We had previously bought a patagoucci but returned it when we found this one! It's a better fit and a few better features too. Also we will only buy products with sage waterproofing which is especially important when buying gear for littles.

For reference I 'm 5' 6 '', 130 lbs and typically wear size 2 in dresses and size 26 in pants, so I did size up one to be able to wear layers underneath and I 'm glad I did. I purchased an extra large in black. I am about a women's sized 12 US, 5' 7 '', 170lb. The length of the leg was great and the length of the arms. When I squat and move my arms, however, skiing motion, they 're just is n't enough length between the crotch and the armpits, if that makes sense. So, I think the torso is just too short for my body. The weight of the suit seems very warm and soft. I really wish it worked for me.

The only negative is the detachable belt bag is just a hair too small for an iPhone 15 regular size to zip up. I have to wear another bag just to carry my phone.
