Because the material is very thick and the neck collar is higher than the average normal tee, I can wear it either as a base layer or even on its own. It has kept me warm during all my gym workouts, and I do notice my sweat drying quickly off from the shirt. A 3M- reflective Nike Tech branding is shown across the chest, which gives the shirt a nicely added premium touch. I ca n't tell if the flat panels along the back of the shirt provides any sort of performance, but I do like that the design reminds me of a padded workout shirt. The fit is intended to be tight with some stretch, and while I went with my true to size, there is still some room to give more of a slim fit look. This baselayer is far from your basic undershirt, so feel free to wear it proudly on its own.

I bought several colors and washed them all once I decided I would keep them. Their sizes kept true after normal wash and dry cycles in machines. Outside of trying them on, I ’ ve only worn this top once to the gym. I really like the fit of the tops. They are fitted but not super skin tight. They ’ re also stretchy but feel cottony(?) to a certain degree. It almost feels like I ’ m wearing a basic tee. I purchased my regular size, large, despite some of the other comments because the shirt does have stretch fabric and it fits perfectly for me. I ’ m a 5 ’ 11 woman, with a regular size torso, regular boobage( lol), and long legs. For me the top stops right above the hip bone and is full coverage. FYI, my belly button is exposed if I lift my arms or arch my back during exercise, but it doesn ’ t bother me.

Parent looking for right protection
Our son has worn this product for baseball since he was 6 years old. We are on our third shirt because he keeps growing out of them. After looking at all the other brands we felt this was the best product because of the protective dome. Other shirts felt like they just put layers of padding in the shirt. This shirt has a sewn in insert that can withstand impact. If a line drive hits this dome the chest will not take the impact the dome will. The fit on this tank top is true to size so definitely get your normal size. The feature I like about this tank top is it comes with a thin layer of padding in the chest area. I wore it with both a sports bra and none during the 2 work outs I did and it was great either way. If you want extra support with these tanks then you can wear a sports bra and still not feel as restricted. Comfort wise I give this tank top a 9/10 because you can technically wear these for almost anything! You can be out all day or a quick errand and you ’ d be fine because it ’s light weight and the design is amazing! If it does get chilly, make sure you have a jacket. The design is a 9. 5/10! You are probably thinking why so high. I love how you can pretty much wear it with anything. The small padding added doesn ’ t compromise the look because it ’s not bulky. The design in the top is cute! The durability I give it a 9/10. Wearing it for 2 different work outs so far and it shows no sign of wear and tear.
