The size is perfect with a small squid strip on a# 4 hook. I was pulling up sand dabs nonstop. The only ones I lost were getting torn off by a pesky seal. Otherwise, at the end of the day I was still able to remove the grubs for re- use.

The 2 1/2 '' in crawdad color catches fish! Tried the larger size and could n't even get a bite. They are a little thin though. Be nicer if the plastic was just a bit thicker. Including pic of a 4 1/2lber I caught in December at a local pond.

Caught lots of largemouth on the 2. 5 inch. Including a nice 4+ pounder about an hour ago. Tried the larger size, and got nothing. These baits would be better if the plastic was just a little thicker.
