She currently plays 16U fast pitch softball so finding wiffle balls that hold up to a hard swing using her regular composite bat without getting destroyed in one session are difficult to find. I use these for front toss rec and comp game warm- ups. They are easy to pitch and do n't sting or hurt nearly as bad when when a player crushes them back at you. They do fly a little further, which makes the players happy until they have to pick them up! These are way better then the best wiffle ball! My son started casting his arms out when batting and he would swear he was not. Even showed him video on how bad it was. At first he hated using the swing rail and said it did not work. Then good old father puts it on and starts nailing the ball with no issues. He then started giving it a try going slow still he found a rhythm that worked for him. The mariucci mini training baseballs are awesome for trying new grips, infield work, mechanics.. They are a lot smaller than regular baseballs I ’ ve used these mixed in with regular softballs for front toss. I really like them for doing drills or wall ball with a mini training glove before full defensive workout. Great tool to sharpen soft toss batting practice and middle infielder work. Great product as always. The smaller baseballs are great help with mechanics.

I officiate ice hockey, and at 50 years old, that means I have sore muscles pretty much all the time from keeping up with high school aged kids. They seem to like to run into me, which is usually fine since I 'm 6' 4 ''/ 225 and a good skater, but I am sure I feel the contact a lot more the next day than they do, even if they hit the ice hard and I stayed on my skates. This ball is a great size to put in my ref bag to take to the rink or use while relaxing on the couch like a softer version of a foam roller. Since I normally dislike foam rollers because they 're too hard, this being softer is a big win for me. I have also started using it as part of light body- weight/ stretching exercises to help with mobility for hockey and golf. All in all, it's been a very good find.
