Bought for 2 daughters who play fast pitch, ages 10 and 12. You wo n't find a better Machine for the price. Housing is all metal, the wheel is a very small rubber tire type. A lot smaller than the Jugs Jr but throws about the same speed. Maxes out at about 50mph. The wind speed and direction affect the overall ball speed. Pitching into the wind slows the balls down noticeably, as does the wind from behind increase speed. Overall for[$] with a feeder you simply cant go wrong. we have thrown over 2000 balls through this machine so far and it still works fine. I would recommend the Juggs Sting free type balls( 2 dozen) these seem to work the best. We have tried the heavier batting cage balls and they come out slower due to weight and sting the batters hands more.

This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. Which I think is fine, you dont get perfect pitches when you step in the box.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my daughter, she plays 8u. It seems like good quality gear so far. She is about 4 foot 1 so not a big girl, the gear is a bit big for her but I was able to tighten it up to fit good which she will have plenty of room to grow into it more an as she gets older! A previous version of this glove withstood 9 moths a year of continuous baseball with my son over the years. He finally beat the palm out of old faithful, yet the leather, laces and glove always stayed fully in tacked. Never have I had to replace, just work the glove to fit you. Bought two years ago and very happy with the gear. Daughter was too big for the small and the medium chest protector and shin guards were perfect. The helmet was a large and was a little big but adjusted well, plus she hit that growth spurt at 12 1/2 which took up the slack. Jen Schro gear it tops in quality and protection. My wife said, make sure my daughter is protected so we did our research and asked around with coaches and catchers from the tourneys. We visited. Many rave about Jens gear. My daughter has taken several foul balls to the face and a bat tip to the side of the helmet, and it didn ’ t phase her. We pulled her and checked for confusion and nothing. The shin guards have extra padding for the knees and the chest protector seems to deaden the balls. Highly recommend.

[ This is my kid's 3rd set. She hates white, and finds the USA tacky. So, we 've done two sets of black. She HATES change, so I almost bought the black again. Decided on the Charcoal. She was SO excited! It really is a slick color. And I do n't know that we 've seen another kid wear it. Totally glad I went with a different color. As for the gear, the quality has always been good. Many competitors' chest protectors are bulky! This looks fitted! No complaints on helmet or shin guards. Expensive?? Sure. But some competitors cost more for their `` very best. '' Highly recommend.
