These are my current go to golf balls. Trajectory is good with solid construction. The dimple pattern is interesting but is intended to help it fly straighter. They ’ re a softer ball so they ’ re subject to damage if you ’ re getting decent compression on the ball. After 9 holes if using the same ball it was starting to show signs. No worries though, the 10th had water all down the right side side so it was no longer an issue.

I was looking for a ball on the firmer side for feel and distance but something that spins more around the greens. In the past I 've used the Bridgestone BXS, great spin but they are a touch soft for my taste and also not as long as other tour balls. The ProV1x is great, has the firmer feel that I like and great distance, however it does n't spin as much as I 'd like it to around the greens. The new Callaway Soft Chrome X has the best of the both. Firm ball with excellent distance and much better spin and control around the greens. I 've found that it is very durable and also not overly spinny with full wedge shots off the fairway coming into greens. It's just a perfect blend of every tour ball I 've ever tested. I also play a low spin driver set- up so I need a little more spin off the driver and I 've found that the Callaway Chrome Soft X is superior in this category as well. It's mid spin off the driver which really complements my typical driver loft& shaft set- up, which is geared for very low spin already. It checks every box for me and is really the only ball that has everything I 'm looking for.

Was gaming the Sri Soft feels( great ball) for a while but was looking for a bit more hold on the green on my approach shots, without breaking the bank. These have the same soft feeling I love at a slightly higher compression for my moderate/improving swing speed. Low spin off the driver, flies straight, far and launches well.
