I have a 2 block walk from my train station so I put the vest heat on before I get off the train and when I hit the street, it is nice and warm and you can feel the heat on the front and back inside the winter jacket. Never kept it on all day to check the battery time. But I like the fact that you can use any other battery pack to power the vest.
