For size reference, I 'm petite 5' x 1 '' and have this in size XS. For a more fitted look, I probably could have sized down. Does excellent job blocking cold winds and keeps my core warm. I have used this vest for many early cold mornings and have been extremely happy with the breathability. Vest has extremely large pockets for those who like to carry phones, nutrition packets, etc. Only thing I would change about this vest is adding some added reflective areas. The small strip in the back reflects very well, but some in the front would be good. I have overcome this issue by just using my clip on safety light and it stays mounted well on the pocket area. I bought this right after Christmas and I hesitated a bit because it was pricey, but I 'm really happy with the look, the fit and the quality. The double zipper at the bottom is a little wonky, but that's my only complaint. It's probably not quite worth the price, but it's close enough.
