So, I just reviewed the solo stove 1. 0 but I got a request to review the fire ring as well. All I can say is it is mandatory if you are using the soli stove on your lawn or like I use mine, on a wooden deck. It keeps the stove from burning its mark into the wood or lawn. A necessity unless you 're using the stove at a camp ground or out in a remote place with no worries about scorched earth when you are done.
