Bought these since I moved from AK over to the east coast. Wanted something lighter and a bit more breathable than the womens legacy boots. I wore these everywhere. Gardening, hiking, walking the dog 3+miles a day, to work, doing errands, slipping them on in the early morning to pick up dog poop. These were easy to slip on and off. My feet stayed dry. In the dead of summer, they can get a bit hot. My regular running shoes are even hot! but overall my feet did not overheat. The shoes had great traction. It's been about a year and they are still great. I may have worn down the soles from so much use. My only con is: the foot cushions might stick to your bare feet if you do n't wear socks.

A couple of weeks ago, Muck Boot sent me a pair of boots to try out. I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store. They are by far the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever worn. My favorite thing is that the sole is soft and “ bouncy ”. I ’ m a very active person who has chronic pain. Got these because I wanted vegan running shoes and this was the only running shoe that was listed in that category. It says its a cross between a trail runner and hiking shoes and does work for jogging, far nicer than my vegan sambas for that. Wish you guys would add more street running shoes tho, would def pick some up real quick if you added some. These are big but I think that's the point, lacing them up tight let me jog in them with no issues, actually felt super nice and bouncy for jogging; these have a ton of cushion compared to sambas.

My wife bought me a pair of these Arctic Sport boots and apart from the logo at first sight they appear( and fit) identical to the Muckmasters. The extra thermal protection does not change the fit. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I like that it has the metal rivets along the eyelights for the laces. These boots appear as if they were made to last. I would recommend this boot to others. I fish the Rio Grande in New Mexico several days a year crawling on the volcanic rock, boulders, cactus, sage and they have held up to it. I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. Safety and comfort--- SOLD!

They look even better than the photos, the grey as not so boring. These look sharp. The boot materials are premium, but the boa wire is not as heavy duty as I expected. It is a very thin and flexible, I hope it does not snap or fray over time. I bought men's size 13. They are roomy, even with neoprene footies and wool socks. But when submerged did pressurize a bit. This seemed to help with comfort especially on the toes. I can not get the boa as tight as I am accustomed to with traditional laces. First time out I felt myself being cautious because they are not as stable in that regard. I would n't say I am swimming in them but definitely a relaxed fit. I think it will just take some getting used to. I 'd be curious to see how a 12 would fit but did n't have the chance to try them on. All the recommendations were to size up from regular shoe. The felt sole is thinner than some other brands. The rubber was nice for walking and one of the rivers I go to is mostly sand so perfect for that. They were not as easy to swap out as described, which i guess is good because they tried to address the problem of some folks losing their soles in the river. I had more trouble getting one of the orange tabs back in, it would not snap in properly. I had to use a screwdriver.

Started with a pair of field and stream brand boots, lasted 2 years. Then went for a pair of orvis Clearwater that lasted only 1 year before the heel started to wear out and damage my waders. These simms boots seem like they will outlive both of the previous pair. They are so rugged and sturdy. I love that the whole boot is made of a thick rubber. The boots go so far up the ankle that you have so much support. It ’s almost like they make you stand up straight and have proper form. 50+ miles have been hiked in these since owning them for the past 2 months and they still fit and look like they are brand new. Simms will be the only brand I buy from their waders, to rain jackets, to hats. Quality all around

They seem to fit him well though he has not tested them in the water yet as he has a career and family with a baby so he hasn ’ t had the opportunity to do so. I will start by saying these are the best pair of boots I have ever owned for wading and I would highly recommend these boots. They are very comfortable with excellent support and great traction. I also purchased a pack of the hardbite studs which work great. I were a size 12 shoe and I purchased a size 12 boot and they fit perfectly with my waders. I have only used them a few times so far so not sure how they will hold up. But so far so good. They still look brand new lol. I would give simms a 5 out of 5 on these. I ’ m sure there higher line boots are amazing as well but for a more mid priced boot these are definitely worth it to me.

These boots replace my old Simms Leather Guide Boots, which are twenty years old and still serviceable. Incredible boots, comfortable to hike in and the fit is great. Follow the Simms sizing guidelines and you should be good to go. Sent a photo of the boots with me wearing my Simms Guide pant waders. I work in a warehouse and walk 10- 12 miles a day, 260 days a year. I have worn the Eagle Trail boots by Georgia Boot this past year. They have been amazing. Only now are the insides starting to fail at the heels. The outsole has worn evenly and still has lots of life left. The leather has resisted being run over by pallet jacks, the toes have saved my toes numerous times. I bought them at the outlet store in Nelsonville and love them so much I will order them again full price. My feet do n't sweat, stink or get blisters. I sized them in W to allow exptra room in the toe box and will likely go up a half size this time. They fit true to size and look very good after a touchup with Helix Foot and Boot care. [ I bought these when my old boots finally fell apart. I actually bought a number of different boots to try them on and these topped the bunch in terms of fit and weight. So I returned the others and the next test was how these operated in use and the passed with flying colors. I picked a 2. 5mile hike in that had varied terrain from gravel to lots of rocks to a fair bit of scrambling to get to the good holes. These performed very well. The soles are stiff enough to support walking across the rocky bottom and not risk an ankle but supple enough to feel the terrain and grippy enough to feel secure and not slip. I noticed the weight( or lack thereof) after 7 hours of hiking, fishing, exploring- my legs and feet felt great. They shed mud and silt very well and finally they dried quickly. I 'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this boot to anyone looking.
