I have been wearing this make Georgia boot since I was a little, I am 22 now, I work in the labor industry as a welder. This is the best most comfortable and very hardy boot. They are high quality leather, although they are comfortable out of the box, they do get more and more comfortable as you wear them. I am on my feet all day everyday so I put some Dr. Scholl ’s insoles in them to make them that much better.( I also have flat feet) One pair last me about 3- 4 years. And that is wearing them literally almost 365 days a year. As a welder I tend to not like laces and these boots are perfect for a welder except if you are needed steel toe. Overall, I owe Georgia boot this review and I am very happy to leave a great review. I ’ ve put these boots through hell, and they withstand anything you throw at them. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

The traction on the soles does wear down faster and creates poor slush/ice traction. But the soles are n't designed for mountain climbing. I do however, use them for upstate bear hunting. Another plus, is if you have hot feet that sweat; look no further. Usually my Gortex waterproof boots get a musty/mold odor. I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

I work in a warehouse and walk 10- 12 miles a day, 260 days a year. I have worn the Eagle Trail boots by Georgia Boot this past year. They have been amazing. Only now are the insides starting to fail at the heels. The outsole has worn evenly and still has lots of life left. The leather has resisted being run over by pallet jacks, the toes have saved my toes numerous times. I bought them at the outlet store in Nelsonville and love them so much I will order them again full price. My feet do n't sweat, stink or get blisters. I sized them in W to allow exptra room in the toe box and will likely go up a half size this time. They fit true to size and look very good after a touchup with Helix Foot and Boot care. It ’s easily been the most durable shoe I own and has held up incredibly well against Chicago ’s unpredictable weather. Thanks to the water- resistant BearCoat that comes pre- sprayed, the shoes have stayed looking just as clean and fresh as the day I took them out of the box. As a busy college student constantly walking to and from classes, swim practice, and everything in between, these shoes have kept me comfortable all day long. I recieved this product as a gift but it has honestly become my new everyday show this past winter and spring! As a college student I ’ m always on the go and even though these boots are platforms the sole is cushioned and I ’ m able to feel comfortable when I wear them all day. Even though they ’ re treated with bear coat some stains are a bit difficult to come out. But it is water repellent and I do enjoy that!
