I bought mine almost 3 years ago and they 're the most comfortable and useful footwear I 've ever owned. I wear them 95% of the time, on daily 2+- 4 km dog walks, outdoors, year- round and they 're at their peak look and feel. The single possible improvement I made- and that's on me because we have 4 months of winter here- is to replace the soles; the originals are quite tricky on frozen ground. Or a great workout, just watch your head yeah? I chose Vibram, a quick fix and better suited for that.

As a proud owner of a pair of Redwing Irish Setters, I can confidently say they are more than just boots; they ’ re a part of my everyday adventures. Unfortunately, my beloved pair has seen better days, and with them being discontinued, I find myself in a bit of a pickle( or should I say, a bootless situation). I PRUCHASED THE MARSHALL BOOTS A FEW DAYS AGO AND ONLY HAVE WORN THEM FOR MAYBE A TOTAL OF 20 HOURS SO FAR. THE COMBINATION OF THE SOLE AND FOOTBED MAKE THEM VERY COMFORTABLE. I AM AFRAID HOWEVER THAT IN THAT TIME THE BOOTS MAY HAVE STRETCHED MORE THAN I THOUGHT. I SEEM TO BE GETTING MORE HEEL SLIP THAN WHAT I FEEL IS COMFORTABLE NOW.

I bought these boots after I bought a pair of ariats that after 2 months had already started to break down and cut into my foot. Needless to say I returned them and went with this boot. It's comfortable, waterproof which is a must since I 'm a new construction electrician and the electrical hazard safety was a plus. I did n't know what to expect but after 3 years of daily use it was finally time to replace them but if I had too, I could have pushed them even longer. I did n't keep them oiled as I should have so the leather was finally drying out. I replaced with the same boot just different style. Once you find something that works, you have to stay with it. The side by side pictures you 're able to see the wear they take over 1000 days of daily use, even use outside of work. My daily wear boot. Work and play.

I had a different brand of boots last me 2 month ’s and they blew out then I switched to Durango ’s and have been been wearing them for over 6 years. They ’ re super durable for all types of work. If you ’ re on your feet a lot that ’s okay cause they ’ re comfortable, if you ’ re in the saddle they ’ re fine also. With other brands I ’ d have the sole falling off that won ’ t happen with these boots. I keep buying more after a couple years just because I want new one not because they ’ re wore out.
